Lewis' vast art collection, estimated to be worth $1 billion, includes works by Picasso, Matisse, Lucian Freud and sculptor Henry Moore.[6] Lewis bought Francis Bacon's Triptych 1974–1977 in 2008 for £26.3 million,[21] then a record for postwar artwork bought in Europe.[22]

Theres our new stadium and enought to completely transform our club right there.

Tosser. He doesnt give a toss about Spurs. He is a businessman and its all about profit.

ENIC OUT!!!!

No one buys a football club for a profit, nearly every single one of the top flights are in massive debt.

It's not about what they did few year back, it's about what they're doing now.
If you're trying to remind me what they did and ask me to support them because of the work they made, it won't be accepted.

Cause it's the same thing like this
'Assou Ekotto did great job for us, even if he's not in good form we must keep him.'
What are they doing now, I just don't understand posts like this? Do you have a real understanding as to what they are actually doing?? Comments like yours are so short sighted it begs belief!!

Have you seriously only just realised this now? Lewis is the man that made a massive amount of his money as a currency trader betting that the pound would crash out of the ERM that was dubbed Black Wednesday back in 92.

He is a businessman and will always look to make the best business decision. Why are people surprised by this.

WOW! I must have missed this one too. I just don't know anymore, I really don't! :banghead:. I could write a book to explain what ENIC mean for our club, and I would still be waiting for the penny to drop for another 30yrs. If you don't get it mate, try to understand it before you post things like that.

My grammar is poor I admit.
I'm very upset by the undone trasfer.
Levy and Joe could do something more during market is open.
So, now I'm childish.

It is a very childish thing to do, so he is right, but it is also a very naive thing to do, which frustrated fans, who have not educated themselves on the workings of our club tend to do. Mate, I don't subscribe to calling people names, so a little advice would be to read up a bit on ENIC and understand what they have truly done for the club and accept it.

The club is currently run like a club that has financial issues.

If it came to light that Lewis was using the club as some sort of tax filter, money cleaner etc I wouldn't be shocked.

Should have just kept Sherwood. Football was ok if not clueless.

Sooner that then ruin another good manager and taint the club further. Nobody will want the job soon, there isn't any prestige in the Spurs job because the club currently doesn't have any ambition on the pitch.

The club as a whole is moving forward, but the playing staff and results aren't a priority to the overall picture.

I hope we keep Poch because I like him and his ideas, even if we don't push for top 4. We won't do anyway with these players.
