Sell some paintings you silly old codger and get our stadium built. Call it the joe Lewis stadium if you like.

That would be a proper legacy if that's what you crave.

You've had a great life though your luck and good fortune. Maybe it's time to give something back to where you were brought up.

Just a thought

I'm sure Jimbo wrote this tongue in cheek but why wouldn't an interested owner do this if they can afford to invest millions in paintings that only a select few will ever get to see.
Joe Lewis Lane would definitely be a legacy never to be forgotten

Few people buy art purely for pleasure. They're investments, as demand is high for works of famous artists, and they rarely, if ever, decrease in value.

Until a new owner buys the club and changes the name to B&Q Park of course.

for every negative post about ENIC, DL, JL, there are countless positive post.

however these negative post really winds me up. We are going backwards, not spending big in the transfer market, DL doesn't care about the club but only his pocket.

*shakes head* honestly I am speechless. So for you wise guys, can you come up with a solution of how to compete with those clubs that are financially super than us without bankruptcies to the club.

Do you think we will win the league with our current financial status, guess what....look at the league winners for the last 10 years, what is the obvious thing that springs to mind. They are wealthy, backed by filthy rich individuals having fun.

In the mindset of it all we are still competitive.
