This is the kind of result that will give me more confidence about our top 4 aspirations. It just proves that there aren't really many 3 point bankers..
I'm over the moon about this. Would and should have been 2 if one of their strikers hadn't been ridiculously greedy in the last minutes and blasted over from a tight angle instead of crossing to another player for an open goal. I can never tell who's on the ball for Wigan cos they all seem to be 6ft black dudes.
As happy as we are, City have to be twice as happy. A point ahead of Pool, with 2 games in hand. Eventhough one of those games is a certain loss, as it's against those 'Spurs' guys. What a sexy bunch of fluid football playing human beings they are.
whooh - hooh wigan - watched it tonight and loved it
pool have been my tip for fourth all season - but for the first time I'm seriously thinking we can finish above them
if we can beat blackburn on saturday i'm going to start, just start to get my hopes up again for 4th - city are in pole position now with a home game in hand - against us if you like, a draw there and it turns to an away game in game - not so great for city - how the **** chelsea lost to them at home grrrrrrrrrrrr
Well its now rather hard to say for any of the rivals which matches are bankers - there are none - which is what many had been pointing out in the prediction threads where Man City in particularly suddenly turned into world beaters going on a run of 10 games unbeaten in the eyes of some BBC Predictor Nostradami. Lets hope we can pick our way through the rubble and find that treasure before any of the others manage to stumble through to it.
