disappointing. i think we're struggling to score and though our players are fantastic, it's probably time to try something different for these EPL games, no?

again, would echo the views that the likes of NK ought to start to freshen things up a little

Huge opportunity missed, but we've been saying that for the past 4 games now and overall it is a huge chance gone. Chelsea only drew too, could have closed that gap as well.

Having said that, just 3 points behind Citeh - hope Sunderland can do us an enormous favour.

Had we played better over the past month we would be sitting incredibly pretty.

We're paying massively for not bringing in a decent striker during the last two windows. It's been done to death but it's still a relevant point.

As much as I appreciate Levy and all the good work he has done for us, he needs to (or rather, needed to) take a gamble on investing in an expensive player that will deliver.

Defoe, Pav and Crouch are quite frankly an embarrassment at the moment.

Levy did want to bring someone in, 'Arry dithered with his choices and we were left scrambling on the last day of the window. I'm still struggling to understand how Suarez "would not work for us."

Well that's our hopes of 4th place finally gone I'm afraid.

Blackpool, Wolves, West Ham, Wigan --> 3 points. I'm interested to see what 'Arry has to say about that.

Fucking joke, hope the players are making the most of the CL run because they're showing no desire in the league to get into it again next year.

I am so angry after watching that...

No urgency from the team at all.

The players think they are above these games now and only "get up" for glamor games.

Harry has to do a better job at motivating the players for these games. our record against bottom half teams is awful.

If you play such a narrow midfield filled you have to have full backs that get forward, He will come out and say that with all the injuries he had no choice.

Why do we insist on loaning out squad players to improve other teams then?

Last year, Lennon got injured, you played Bentley. Walker would have been ideal today and given us the width we needed.

I can't believe we have only taken 1 point from wigan this season. That is embarrassing. 1 point from west ham this season, that is embarrassing.

We didn't deserve anything today but from those 4 games we should have had 10 points minimum, imagaine if we had those extra 8 points now.

Massive Sunderland fan tomorrow now!!!

No width and little pace in that side.

Also his subs weren't great and WTF does Kranjcar have to do to get a start when he has single handly won us games when we've been turning in similar dog shit performances like Sunderland away.

Kranjcar hardly single handedly won them, he scored 2 goals yes, but single handedly, no.

And When he did put width and pace on, Lennon did bugger all. He had the ball and opportunity to run at them, but didn't.

Think, good old 'Arry being made the scapegoat yet again, because deep down we all know he isnt a favourite at WHL, regardless at what he as done for us. Sad, but true.

I'm assuming our narrow, solid line up with 4 central midfielders was with the view of stifling the opposition so we could get a point at the might Wigan, so job done right?

Oh, so he has no responsibility for the losses?

We need Sunderland to hold City tomorrow, and when you start relying on other sides the writing is on the wall.

We've gift wrapped City this.....and they're flipping horrible to watch.

How can we blow the greats in Europe away and look so inept against the weaker sides in this division. Its inexplicable.

We've hardly been spectacular, some pretty special matches in Europe have papered over the cracks in the league and led the media to label us "entertainers", but our goal return in the league is abysmal this season and that's in part down to shit strikers but also a lack of chances created.

People will curse our forwards today but how much of note did any of the side do in the final third, it's not like they fluffed a load of chances, I just don't see how a side including Modric and VDV can be so bereft of creativity?

I don't think its going to happen Pinky, City won't mess up this time. I hate to say it but 4th is gone imo.

Yeah good point. God knows how Harry thought a talented, inventive, prolific goal scorer wasn't what our pathetic strikeforce needed, but hey...best not to criticise him because he saved us from relegation and got us into the Champions League. That short-lived spot in the limelight clearly means more than having any prolonged success that extends beyond his inevitably brief tenure at our club.

Yeah I agree. We need an end of season run like last season but it's not showing any signs of happening.

Harry's excuse " Well i don't know what the fans are moaning about as look at the position we were in when i arrived" yawn

and he will keep on using that until he becomes England manager.

Suarez has hardly set the premiership alight though, he has what since he joined Liverpool ? 2 goals in the premiership or something so would not have been the difference between 4th and 5th, he might well come good yes but he has no stats yet that justify the £22m we would have had to pay

Results went our way again today. If Man City get anything other than a win tomorrow then we have be well and truly let off the hook!

I think the big problem today was width. We need Lennon and Bale fit with no more relapses. If that happens, then I think we'll start finding the net again.

Disappointing result and a shocking game to watch but, thankfully, we're still very much in the hunt for 4th.
