Which striker options are left ?

Just how many realistic striker options are left this summer ?

Soldado, Higuain too expensive, Levy will never sanction either

Damiaou - if it was going to happen it would have happened before

Some others we may or may not be able to put together.

Dzeko - my new number 1 choice

Lukaku- Chelsea would never sell him to us. Likewise Torres

Hooper- levy type deal , average player

Hernandes- would be great, not much chance I guess Hooper it is then.

Any other ideas ?

What are Lloris, Vertonghen, Dembele, Adebayor and Paulinho then. Are they not Levy type deals?

Osvaldo, Eder, Ba, Cisse, Remy are all realistic options I would say.

Then there are bound to be a few many of us have not really followed that Baldini has on his watch list.

I'm hoping he comes up with something pretty left field. A young player under the rader who explodes on to the scene.

I like Osvaldo and would love Soldado but not sure either will end up at our place.

Pablo Osvaldo or Burak Yilmaz. Both very powerful & athletic strikers, who can finish with either foot and are excellent in the air. They are around the same ago too 27/28, and probably would cost £13-18m (Yilmaz being the more expensive).

Vucinic is available too for a good bit less, although he isn't exclusively a striker, more of a creative player who likes to operate on the left drifting in.

The only details I can find on this are that he's on about €100k per week. This makes sense as he wouldn't have been on a huge amount at Wolfsburg but it's certainly a doable amount for us to pay someone.

It might get to the point where he'll have to take a pay cut if he wants to play. I can't see anyone who's in the market for a striker paying him in excess of £80k a week.

I'd happily have him, but there is nothing to suggest we want him, or he wants to leave City. He knows how to score at WHL though...

i think levy fell out with city finaising the adebayor deal so i doubt they would loan us another player again. so that probably rules out dzeko. maybe with baldini we may have a shot at osvaldo but realistically i can see a late signing of remy.
