For anyone who hasn't spotted, yes Ty has a separate pair of headphones in to the ones round his neck

He's such a ****
Seems to think if he repeats the same sentence over and over again it somehow makes it more valid, it's so irritating I can see why that West Ham cretin punched him.

Yep, I haven't seen the punch but I'm glad someone did the right thing; he just doesn't let Claude explain himself at all and thinks that by talking over him that he's winning the argument.

On Saturday evening on the train home the BBC Football homepage ranked the news stories in the following order:

1) Leicester beating City (rightly so)
2) Southampton v West Ham latest score (ok - won't lose my shit over that)
3) Liverpool drawing with Sunderland (ffs)
4) Bayer Leverkusen v Bayern Munich latest score (definitely trolling us now)
5) Spurs go second (at last!)

If Liverpool had won they would have probably been the top story!

Fine. But who really cares whether some jobsworth at the BBC has ranked us in the order we feel appropriate. People that appreciate and understand football have recognised what we are doing and to be honest I quite like us being under the radar for as long as possible. We have won all the games lately we would on paper be expected to. I think now if we beat City or Ar
Fair play for what Leicester are doing this season, but to say they were the best side we've played at home is absolute crap. Leicester were total shit against us. One of the worst teams we've played at home, in both matches. It was proper smash and grab stuff against us. A 2-0 or 3-0 win for us would have been a far more accurate reflection of both games.

I know they've played some nice stuff this season and they are a massively effective team but against us they were at their worst and we should have beat them comfortably.

I think in the home game we started well but then faded. Second half from boths teams was pretty woeful. A draw would have been fair. They in no way deserved a win though

There's a video of it, but you don't really see the punch.
I think the perfect end to the season would be us pipping Woolwich to the title on the final day, then Claud beating that prick unconscious with his own water bottle.

Shoulda, woulda, coulda, if's buts and maybe's - if your argument is leaning on what if scenarios then you haven't really got an argument to be fair.

The very fact that you're saying that they're one of the worst teams we've played this season tells me you don't really appreciate how they setup, I think you're focusing on their attacking game a bit much and not giving any credit to their defence, they didn't allow us to penetrate them and kept us as bay, their defensive cohesion and shape is the best I've seen at the Lane this season and they have a strong mentality.

If they weren't the best team then who?
More like the argument is based on qualitative observations. If those observations has no weight in a discussion, then Newcastle has been the best away team at WHL this season.

anyone else concerned that it appears set up for a fairy tale reigning champions Chelsea hand Leicester the trophy when they play each other last game of the season?

He's chugging away like he has easy access to a toilet..

If you mean they'll let them win. They'll do it out of spite if it means we dont win it:mad:
No, I just meant that it would be great PR for the PL if they have the current champions hand the trophy to the new champions on after the last game of the season..........otherwise it means they'd have to fly it over to WHL! :D

He's just an annoying twat to be honest, I don't think violence is ever the answer though and let's face it that's the only way those brainless fucking spammers know how to react to anything.

*Edit* However I would pay good money to watch him and Claude have a fist fight.

*Double edit* Just and observation but why does he have earphones on under his headphones? Surely you are stepping into full kit wanker territory with that?

Wimmer has played over 60 games in the Bundesliga. He's not the green novice that we tend to think of him as.

Ed: Sorry, no, I just double checked - half those games were in the German 2nd tier, half in the Bundesliga. Still reasonable experience.

Also the last team he played for had the best defensive record in the league didn't they?

If they weren't the best team then who?

Their goalkeeper was man of the match. We penetrated them plenty of times with 21 shots at goal, 5 on target. They had 2 shots on target all match. Our failure to score was down to poor finishing rather than good defending.

I do appreciate good defending but for me, good defending isn't putting 10 men behind the ball for 85 minutes. That's cowardly football. Our defending is far superior, the goals against column says so, and we don't have to camp on the edge of our own box to do it.

Anyway, I understand Leicester had an off day when they played us so I didn't get to see them at their best, but I'd say the best team we've played at the lane this season was probably Liverpool as they actually had a go at us, and although it wasn't a great game, they matched us on the day and I can't really think of anyone else that's done that this season.

Fuck me!
5Live has just had an hour long wankfest over Leicester.
Now I can appreciate that they're doing well and are a massive talking point but to have a whole hour dedicated to jizzing all over them is a bit much.

All I can hope is that all this is just adding more expectation and pressure on them.
That, coupled with playing teams that are battling for every point, may give us the opening we need.

It's gonna be a tense but exciting trip from here on.

If you think it's bad now imagine what it's going to be like if they win it!

To be fair, what they are doing is unprecedented in the modern game and something I never thought I'd see ever again so it's not surprising the attention it's getting.
