Arsemania.

Haven't caught up with reading the thread so no idea if this was posted by it needs to be.

Of the possible teams to win the league we certainly have the hardest run in. All the 6 away games are tricky ones, we really can't afford to drop any more stupid points at home.

Leicester's run in is piss easy. We need to strugglers to take points off them now.

Hopefully by the time we face City they are out of the title race.

That should be blown up framed and on our changing room wall and maybe in the corridor too.

Bookies will be ecstatic if Leicester win the league. Just think how much they will have taken on the usual suspects to win it. They always love an outsider to win, rather than a favourite.
On the contrary, I believe many are feeling the sweat.. Imagine the payout.. Even at 10 games in, I think the odds for Leicester is still high, but by then many bets could be already in giving themselves a shot.. Hence TBH, I don't see many bookies hoping for Leicester lifting the title.. Too costly for them..

Agree, was gonna say the same thing. Hope they don't read Bluemoon though, they will think they have a walkover at the weekend :)

I am well aware Toure isn't in good form but I would still prefer to see him over Fernando there and see if he could play the deep playmaker role. Not sure if Iheanacho could play the left wing role so maybe Angelino could be an option if not. We always look better with width on both sides.

Spurs don't have the pace that Leicester have and if we turn up, I can see us sneaking a win in a close game.

Spurs don't need to have pace. Leicester play 9 outfielders behind the ball & Vardy up top. They have minimal possession every game. Spurs are completely opposite. They play higher up the field. They swarm over defenses & win ball back higher up the field & counter.

In any case, they do have pacy players - Kane is deceptively quick. You only have to look at their Full backs play in MOTD - all their 4 are pacy. Son is pacy. Chadli, Lamela, Alli also can carry the ball.

More than anything, am really worried about midfield. Dembele will eat up Delph. Yaya is the only one who could physically tussle with him. If Yaya doesnt play & bring his A game, Spurs will dominate. Only hope is Aguero getting behind their CBs. They look solid too.

Spurs in all competitions - Last 6 games - 6 wins. They are the form team in PL, conceded less than 20 & scoring for fun. Could not have picked a worst time to face that lot

Am I the only one that thinks we actually have the easiest run in, considering we have to face less bottom-table teams then them? These opponents are always fighting for their lives comes last 10 games of the season..

Sunderland, villa, Swansea, Norwich are gonna playing for survival and we had already despatched 2 of them.. Gooners will be facing all, and Leicester and city will face 3.. They will definitely give our rivals a run of their money.. No apparent easy games really IMO..

Is that not accurate? If ourselves and Arsenal Win next weekend, people will count city out and deem it a three horse race.
It is indeed but very understated, it would have shown more recognition and in fact have been more accurate to say that we moved into second place. Taking second place is moving forward retaining third is keeping in touch.
Don't get me wrong, I don't mind, I am quite happy for them to play down our achievements for the time being.

The bookies will be fine, just the bets from scousers on Liverpool winning the league (it's their year apparently) will cover the Leicester payout.

Easy run-in..hard run-in..does it matter?

We are in the last part of the season and I haven't seen one team outplay us.I genuinely believe that we are the best team in the country right now with the best manager. If we play like we have all season I don't see why we cannot win the title.

The crunch period will be last 6 games. That is when this squad will show its true mettle. It's all about mentality.

Most City fans think were going to hammer them, football realy is a funny old game. Some qoutes from Bluemoon.

We will get bummed

Comfortable Spurs win. 0-2 Kane with both

Regardless of who we play (their team line up) we're not gonna win

play like we did yesterday and it will be the same result

Draw please

If we get a point I shall be delighted

You have to start looking at the relegation fight from this point in the run in. Those fighting for their lives start to become a harder about now.

Bluemoon is being way, way, way too pessimistic about their chances. We're in form, but we're not unbeatable or super-human. We're probably favourites, but only just. It's really an on-the-day situation.

City are evens (2.0), we're 11/4 (3.75). We're certainly not favourites.

I'd never class us as favourites. We're in better form at the moment, but they'll still go in to the game as favourites.

Blinder from redcafe

Spurs and Leicester have not had the injuries or form drops etc that should have happened by now, but even without these factors the pressure is going to hit them both hard soon if they keep up the positions they are in. Will be interesting to see if they can handle it.

I'm still quite hopeful that when we finally get some injured players back it will give us that little bit extra we need for the rest of the season. If a fit and fresh Bastian Fecksy Swine had been on the pitch today, we would not have collapsed mentally and played like we did the final 20 and after we scored. When is he due back?

Oldie Bas Schwineogi you may be our only hope...

The injury piece...

Days out injured - 6th highest in the league.

We are not fav next week... They got Aguero back and we have Wimmer playing them first time. We need Dier to take Aguero out and walker for Sterling. Our attack most likely will come from the left flank....
