I think (hope) we will get to the group stages, and with a little luck get through, but then go out in the last 16.

I think we will finish 3rd and have a good run in the Europa. I would also class that as quite successful for a first stab at the Champions League.

If we get the top class striker we crave then the last 16, maybe further with the luck of the draw. If we dont then the group stages maybe even crash out inthe qualifiers if we get a poor draw i.e. Dynamo Kiev/Sampdoria.

Never been more nervous supporting Spurs than about the upcoming qualifier. Dont want to even think any further so as not to tempt fate.

I remember when Arsenal and United 1st started getting in the Champions league. They didn't perform well so I think that if we can get in the group stage then that will be a success. Also we have only got 4 players that have ever played in the champions league before (I think, Gomes, Keane, Crouch and Jenas) so it will be a diifficult juggling league and champions league. I would rather we focused on the qualifying for the group stage and then focus on the league. Just getting in the group stage is a succes in my possibly unambitious eyes

I hope we hit the ground running..... I fear we will make a right meal out of the qualifier.

I voted third in the group stages though who knows? As good as this side is, we have had a year out of European football and other than our run in 2006-7 we never looked that great. That was partly because we were terrible in 2008, though we were a little unlucky against PSV in 2007-8, and Redknapp had injury worries and priorities to worry about in 2009.

Looking at the teams we may face, we should get through the playoffs though it won't be easy as we won't be that match fit and the opposition may well be. It would then depend on the depth of our squad and who was in our group.

I'm more worried about the qualifier, it would be typical Spurs to mess that up. I always dread away trips

After that I don't mind how far we get, just hearing the music at The Lane. Hopefully we can get a team like Barcelona, beat them in the group stages as well :D

Our European history in away games hasn't been too bad down the years but we have made hard work of home games (as far as I can remember)

the qualifier is one of those embarrassing banana skins but if we get through then our coefficient would put us in the second pot for the group draw and with 3 home games i think 2nd place is acheivable.

I've gone for 3rd in the group then into Europa.

To get thru the qualifier and then thru the group to the CL knockout stage would be fantastic.

This.

And then depending on the team we draw, we could well end up in the quarter final. Which is what i voted for....

At the moment we are not good enough at centre half or upfront. I never thought i would hear myself say this but i think at the moment our strongest position is midfield as we have players who like to keep the football.
