It would be the funniest thing ever if we were to finish 4th. They would have to close down the club

Im not overly worried tbh. I think we will beat them comfortably in the NLD, beat Burnley and that they will draw against Newcastle. I reckon we will both win our final games and that we will get 4th on GD
Dream scenario, hopefully you're right. Thursday is going to be absolutely nerve-wracking though.

5th is where we finish. Sadly I think the goons win on Thursday to confirm it and then we'll beat Burnley and Norwich. I like the EL away trips so am satisified with that.

They either win or lose away (9-1-7) to date. Haven’t seen much of them this season, but haven’t been overly impressed when I have. The fact we are both going for 4th having lost 11 games each already says something about both of us. Obviously, can point to the change of manager in our case. Think our front three beasts their defence if on song, so confident we will win. Then it’s onto the next and hoping for a win against Burnley and a favour from Newcastle.

I don't watch other teams so no idea what they're like (other than in the reverse fixture). However Chelsea and West Ham both won their first game at our new ground with their fans present and this is their first game with their fans present (indeed they are the last set of PL fans to attend) so it just feels inevitable sadly.

I agree that 11 defeats is too many to be in this position.

Look if Arsenal get a win or draw on Thursday then they deserve 4th and we certainly don't. If we can't win on Thursday we have bigger issues than qualifying for the CL

I don't think that will happen. Arsenal are a good side but they are certainly beatable.

I think if we win on Thursday then we are favourites and that point we got yesterday will prove valuable

Really needed Everton to stay in the relegation scrap going into final game against Arsenal. Unfortunately, I think they beat Watford comfortably and probably won’t need a result final game . Would have been a much tougher fixture for Arsenal.

Arse handed it to us on a plate and we've fucked it. It's out of our hands now and we knew exactly what the deal was going into those games against Brighton and Brentford. Must-win, didn't win. They went to Chelsea and West Ham and got six points. They're quite capable of tying it up on Thursday.

It is what it is.

Calm down everyone! Should we beat them on Thursday then I believe that we will qualify. Arsenal will draw/lose one of their last matches

We want Everton to be fighting for their lives on the last game of the season

But ironically, if we beat Burnley we might be going some way to saving Everton's skin

Oh well, we still have to win our remaining 3 games and see what happens

I honestly believe we are a much better side than arsenal. Much better. The first half of our season was obviously not the best and we've been playing catch up. I think we will roar our team to victory on Thursday but after that I have no idea. I've been a Spurs fan too long to think we will then go and finish the season in style. If we do end up in the EL then let's give it a proper go. Please.

All about Thursday for me. Win the NLD and after that what will be will be.

With the Haaland to City news this morning I'm confident that Kane stays this summer which makes Conte staying more likely. That is more important than whatever European competition we are playing in next season. If Conte stays I'd be backing us to surpass Arsenal and Chelsea next season.

Do we want West Ham or UTD to end up in the Conference League? Personally I think it would hinder ETH.
Would rather them in the Europa League if that's even possible. Conference League wouldn't be a hindrance for a club like Utd, just throw the kids in there which you can't really do anymore in the Europa League.

Yes they are and if we are able to approach the game with the same determined mind-set we deployed at Anfield, I fancy us strongly to beat them and close the gap to a single point.

The only problem (for me) is that I think the goon scum will beat Newcastle and Everton, so that'll be it.
