After looking briefly at the ESPN headline news today, my first thought was "Why the fk is Levy the new FIFA president?"

For all the bad Levy has done, he's laid the foundations down for us to be an international 'big boy' like Barca, Bayern etc.

We have the most impressive and by all accounts the best training complex not only in England, but in Europe and you can see how that has benefited us on the pitch.

The new stadium looks fucking incredible and pisses all over every stadium in this country. The NFL deal is an absolute stroke of genius which could only have been achieved with his decision to deal with Under Armour, you'd imagine. It will bring us in a ridiculous amount of money.

The deal with AIA has brought us huge exposure in Asia, the money in football in china is now insane and the signing of Son will only strengthen our fan base out there. You would think that other teams will now find it very hard to tap into the Asian market now like we have.

And Pochettino, like me, most of us were spitting feathers when he turned to him instead of De Boer and thats why Levy runs the club and i'm posting on an internet forum. His bravest and best decision. We have the best manager in the league and the best squad i've certainly seen in my life time.

So thanks, Levy. You useless bald headed mug, i want my shit tottenham back.

Money available?

Evidence of this last summer, absolutely. But the bids for Bera and Wanyama were made too late.

As for the winter window, as everyone knows in advance, there's little value irrespective of the availability of funds. And value is the watchword of course.

I've seen every minute we've played without Kane on the pitch and whilst we've got good results those pushing Chadli and Son as capable of doing the job are still well short of a reasonable case.

I was as thrilled with the win over the Italians as anyone, and Boris' stadium approval on the same day.

But before people start the Levy love in again let's take stock of what's definitive so far this season. Home cup eliminations were pretty shameful.

Losing to Dortmund, and tumbling out of the CL places? Planning delays and Milton Keynes announcements? These are all still possible, and while they are, let's just enjoy heading in the right direction without going ott.

Sons signing means very little in China, Sarge. But the impact in Korea is huge. For four years I had to watch wall to wall Sunderland or Swansea live games when I lived in Seoul. I passed through Korea last week catching the Fiorentina game on the box. We have become box office, and not least because we are fkin second, second. When the rest of the world including China watches Man U v the Scum on Sunday, many Koreans will watch our game v Swansea.

So true...I mean the way Levy defended against Woolwich was pretty shameful, and he really should've protected his near post better against Palace.

No idea but certainly under Pochettino Levy has been less interfering on the football side of things at the club. I give Pochettino the credit for that, not Levy.
maybe that's the case, but he should have pushed Poch harder to bring in a striker during Jan window, even if this was just a loan signing to provide cover for Kane..

How much was he interfering with the football side of things before then?

But that's exactly it - he's not interfering with the playing side and letting Poch get on with it - Poch knows if he screws up he won't be around much longer, but he also knows he's in charge of the football and he can deal with it how he wants...

That was almost the most serious post you've ever posted.

Well done mate.

Nobody knows for certain how much levy interfers with the football side of things before or after poch joined. Making statements that he has steped back etc... are just guessing and possibly wishful thinking.

Poch may have been prepared for more responsibility than avb (who asked for a dof) or may have demanded it. But we don't know for sure.

One day hopefully levy will release an autobiography then we might find out a bit more.

At the end of the day i highly doubt levy goes out on the training pitch, where the main difference to the team has come from.

You seem to have a less than positive view of life and it's got to the stage that I'm beginning to resent you using one of our most positive, exciting and exuberant former players as your user name.

First point, your auto correct is on the blink. Levy, not life. i don't feel the need to post about non football matters on internet fora. But don't pass judgement on others who do.

Second point is bizarre. Take yourself less seriously and debate the points, playing the ball not the man.

Pretty silly reply?

We haven't done very well in the domestic cups have we under his tenure? Any different this season? Nope.

Lets hope this record improves eh.

3 finals 1 win. How many clubs have a better record since he took over?
