I think he has played his way out of the big clubs attentions over the last season.

Barca were interested in him last season.

He's a good player and there's not many good defenders around who are comfortable at playing out from the back who are attainable for big clubs, he'll always have suitors especially for a position which is becoming more and more important to how teams are playing nowadays.

From Eriksen's recent performances, I don't think he deserves to be. Nor does Vertonghen.
