I doubt we'd sign both Bellamy and Young seeing as they're both quite similar (i.e. left sided forwards).
Personally for the money that both clubs would want I'd much rather go for Bellamy.

Don't quote me on this (either out loud or by using the quote button) but I think the Scout has links with Bentley's agent. I don't know if that's his only source (I don't think it is) but he's very well regarded over on COYS.

Why?
We dont need both of them maybe one but not both
we have Kranjcar, Bale(at the moment, future LB), Lennon and Bentley
added to the fact we have modric who might play there, gio(who harry likes but wants to knuckle down and he said he wants to come back), rose and townsend

Not sure his career is really 'off track' is it? According to Wikipedia (the font of all knowledge) he got 9 goals and 16 assists last season. For someone who plays largely out on the left that's not a bad return.

Not sure why we would want Young when Bale, Kranjcar and Modric can all play on the left, and play well.
I guess he'd be a good player to bring in if Bale got injured, so as to make sure we still had some pace on the left, but I doubt that would be a role that appeals to Young. Unless Harry wants to play him off the striker?

I get the feeling that Harry wants to make absolutely sure Aaron knows he still has to keep working on his game/growing/delivering...I also get the impression that in Harry's mind, Bale would be left-back, Young wide-left in a 5 man mid, Luka off the striker, you get the idea...just my thoughts...Young's career is stale at Villa IMHO, Jenas' career is stale at Spurs, a switch plus cash would be good for both...I have a sneaker that unless Harry can pull off the striker signing he wants, Keane might yet stay until Xmas at least...have to say, I think both Young and Bellamy would be excellent for those nights where we play patient football and hit on the break...

In a 4-3-3/4-5-1 none of Bale, Modric or Kranjcar would really suit the left sided forward role (maybe Kranjcar at a stretch).
If he had Young or Bellamy we could go...

At the moment I think only Gio in our current squad could play that role and I think Bellamy and Young are both a significant cut above him at the moment.
