Fuck, De Rossi is playing, need to keep him away from any of our players who have legs. Which I believe is most of them.

I wish Winks were starting next to Dier - would rather see his quick passing, than two clogs in the midfield.

Aren't you in New York yankspurs, or did I get that wrong? Is there much coverage of the game(s)?
Sounds like a cracking night at Flannery's bar with Ledley on Sunday, all singing "we've got Ledley at the bar".
I am. In the suburbs for the time being though. Not able to go to the game but my buddy whose a City fan is going with his girlfriend who got tickets through her job. Already told him off. There's been some coverage. As Sandro said, the club opened the Nasdaq today which is a big deal. Im not sure what the club or the supporter club is doing at the bars but im sure they probably did something.

Odd that Dier is playing centre mid in a back 3, he can't drop back like he usually does, will be interesting to see along with KWP & Onomah

Well if CCV ever had a chance to shine it's gonna be lining up alongside Jan and Toby.

Seems like we have an abundance of defenders in the team, lets hope they can create something...

Oh fuck off FFS. Dier in midfield again. KWP as LB, Onomah as AM a-fuicking-gain. Jesus Poch, like you need to see Dier and Dembele play in CM to know what they are about ?

Feels like Poch giving Diers balls a little tickle tickle whilst the transfer window is still open.

Dier in midfield again...appeasement I wonder?

If he wants to be a midfielder that's fine long as he is comfortable with being regularly rotated out of the team in favour of Wanyama

Davies can't play another 90 mins, and I like the idea of seeing KWP as LB to see how versatile he is at this level. Also this is the position he played for England in the U20 world cup.

Could be convenient, have a feeling we could see Lamela fit before rose. Dont know how Davies can be expected to play all the games he's going to have to from August to October

I don't think it's going to do him many favours really when what he really needs is to be given a chance to nail a back up spot as a RB. These kids have enough on their plate just earning a place in our squad playing in their best position. Constantly playing them out of position is just setting them up not to succeed.

We can't play our only fit LB for 270 minutes in one week in a hot pre-season.

Will be interesting to see Dier centre mid, he can drop off to receive the ball but he ain't got the speed and stamina of Wanyama so will change the play we play completely.

I don't watch England but I'm sure he played centre mid infront of a back 3 for them and was guff, will be interesting to see.

Hope Walker-Peters does well
