Here is a match thread for you, boys and girls.

This is of course on at stupid o'clock on a weekday, so how many actually tune in remains to be seen.

I doubt I will be one of them, however I wouldn't mind us trying out the back three for some of this game maybe two centre backs formation for one half and three CB for the other. It would allow a bit more cover for youngsters like CCV and KWP (also frees the latter to attack more) and I suspect we will be seeing one of the rookie LB options in this game as Davies played 90 mins the other day and it wouldn't be wise to flog him like this every match. Also I would like to see Onomah in central midfield - so if you had Dembele/Wanyama paired with Winks/Onomah in each half, three at the back allows us to still play Dier and give all our other centre backs a run out too. No one misses out on game time.

Lloris
Alderweireld Dier Vertonghen
Trippier Wanyama Dembele Davies
Dele Eriksen
Kane
With KWP, Winks, Nkoudou and Janssen getting the entire second half.

Season coming up quickly, time to have the likely first match xi getting back in tune with each other.

Would add Onomah for full 2nd half as well.

I did think that but i wanted the fringe / youth players getting a good opportunity to have as many first choices around them as possible. Game down to two of Winks, Nkoudou and Onomah for me. To put in all three would probably mean removing all of Dembele, Dele, Eriksen and suddenly the chances of those introduced is lessened. At least if it's just Nkoudou and Winks for Alli and Dembele, they still have Eriksen to make them look good.

It'll be a needlessly mixed up team and CCV will be the scapegoat.

Would like to see the academy boys on the tour get some PT here. Also want to see CCV, KWP, Onomah(in CM please), Winks and GKN get more time.

I hope to see KWP with Toby as centre back at some point during pre season. Just as a fairer judge.

Don't see Davies or Eriksen starting after playing the whole 90 minutes the other day
