The assist stat doesn't mean that much in context though really, it doesn't really tell the story of which player is creative because it also relies on the person finishing the chance.

I learnt that when Joey Barton had 3 times more assists than Modric did in 2010/11

because I wasconfused as to what you meant by comedic value. Dembeles limitations or the article mentioned by mind numingly repetitive arun. all the teams evidently interested in md probably dont see your point in dealing with the challenge of deep sitting opponents. Ive pulled the rating but think this angle is overplayed myself.

I think he will go given he wont get the guarantees he wants so wont sign a new deal, but hope he goes to italy where he may be more appreciated.
