Well at least it's at home so we won't have to suffer the ticker tape parade, fireworks, marching band, and red arrows flyover to usher in the era of the German Frank Gallagher.

I see Craig Pawson has been chosen to referee Jurgen Klopp's first game in England. I have to say I'm not overly happy with that seeing as he was the referee in the game between Liverpool and Bournemouth where Liverpool won 1-0 with a goal that should have been disallowed under the new offside rules.

As a result, he actually has more assists for Liverpool this season than Firmino, Sturridge, Ings and Benteke put together... :woot:

And disallowed a perfectly legit Bournemouth goal.

Don't bother with your prediction Lawro, allow me:

"Ordinarily I wouldn't hesitate in predicting a victory for Liverpool......and I certainly don't see any reason to change that now Klopp is manager... 3-0 to Liverpool"

3-0 is a bit conservative considering our recent results against them.

I'm hopping over the pond to grace the Lane with my presence you lucky people. First match I've been over for since last year vs Chelsea. Let's hope I bring more luck this time!

So, lately we have had pretty tasty wins over Manu, City, Chelsea and Arsenal, so now I really want to see Spurs smashing those shit****s more than any other team. Shame that Dier is out, but let's put Dembele on analdriver mode, think this is the game where he could shine.

Keep them at bay for 60mins or so and they'll tire. They've a few key players returning that are lacking match fitness and I doubt they can sustain the same intensity as us generally.

I think this might be a key area in a decent home victory.

Nothing would please me more than to see weeks of Klopp build-up, only for us to trash them on Saturday, and Carragher is forced to analyse it.

I want to see no Klopp laughter after the game. None.
