2 of the subs were for injuries or just precautions. The other 3 were to rest 3 important players for Friday.

They saw the game out and kept a clean sheet. Job done.

I rarely comment haven't done in years but, for the 1st time in ages I want to say something and firstly to say about Hjoberg, if anyone was passing sideways and backwards today, it wasn't him. Good game, great result, we could of been better but still time to get better, can't believe we top of the league and have room to get better.
Though he was same as he always is - solid, dependable and hardworking.

Its not his fault he's not got world class ability like Bissouma but by goodness he's a proper professional.

At some point fans of other clubs will claim we bottled the league. Because they’re scared. The speed Ange has turned us around is astonishing, we are going places at a rapid pace and it’s incredibly exciting.
Like we "bottled it" in 2015-16, after Arsenal & Man City both threw away leads at the top of the table, but we only ever had an outside chance of chasing down Leicester's 7 point lead.
But not like Arsenal in 2022-23, when they finished 5 points behind Man City after being 5 points clear with two games in hand (i.e. effectively threw away an 11 point advantage).
Obviously that's a fair way to look at it. ;)

Decent win, thought we were a bit sloppy in the 2nd half. William and Robinson were good for Fulham.

They played a really tight formation, but surprisingly quite a high line.

Tonight is another stark reminder of the need to try and get some starting quality depth in the squad in the January window.

Very fair and measured comments from Ange about the second half performance. It was poor and we gave the ball away far too cheaply.

I like him. Really insightful and modest
He used to be but not anymore. He’s become as biased as the rest of them, which is a shame because he was a breath of fresh air to begin with. He put his money on the gooners this year and can’t bear it now they aren’t as good as he thought. That kind of stubbornness has no place in impartial commentary. Mans a clown these days.

Fair, tough crowd if that’s a tough watch though.
It was basically the whole of the second half I guess that I’m talking about. I thought we were really sloppy after half time and gave the ball away a lot. I did enjoy the first half. It was a bit disappointing just to lose the ball so much and give away so many opportunities . Ange just said it’s the worst 45 mins this season. Everyone is entitled to an opinion.

BJ in for Richy on Friday?

Most agree?

No, actually.

Worked hard, pressed well, played some good passes. Helped us win the ball and was well involved, got an assist.

Dropped off second half with everyone else, but haven’t seen any reason to switch him with Johnson. If Johnson comes on as a sub and plays well, the chance will come - but he hasn’t as yet done anything to suggest he gets picked over Richarlison 🤷🏻‍♂️
