no one'll have a game in hand that can displace us.

.

yes they do..

i'm curious to see younes at cm, i think he will do very well there, but ideally i'd like to see a kaboul-wilson duo if ever huddle misses a game

but today i hope that wilson can at least start the game and i'll be surprised if he doesn't

listen most people agree with you we're still in the race, but quite a few agree with me, we ain't

in fact one poster said recently even if we beat everton and blackburn we still won't be - and I know exactly where he's coming from

to pip pool - a big 4 giant - will require reserves of mental stamina, playing ability etc that I don't think we have

tell me if i'm wrong but we have never finished above pool in the prem?

maybe once or twice - but I can't remeber it

and certainly not in the recent past

to me we went to Anfield, they didn't have torres gerrard or johnson - we still lost

yes the ref helped - so what's new - 'ref helps big 4' shocker

do we have what it takes to break into the cartel - no

I'm somewhere between the 2 camps actually.

Are we in the race for 4th at the moment? I think we are.

Will we blow it completely? I think we will.

Greetings to all my fellow faithful ! This is a MUST WIN game for us, we really need to up our game. Everton are a great side, they wil be very very hard to breakdown. They have players that will grind out a result, dangerman is SAHA and DONOVAN .. Just hope Pav keeps up his performance and come on DEFOE .. CoYS !!!!

No width!! I hate playing with both Kranks and luka on the flanks :-(

If we play with Modric on the left and Kranjcar on the right it might not be as bad.

Kranjcar doesn't drift as much as Modric does, and with Bale down the left it could work

I'm more nervous today than normal....this is a huge game for us, particularly given City's result yesterday. I'm really hoping we can step up to this today and produce a really solid display against a tough opposition. One goal could win this today.

STARTING XI - Gomes; Corluka, Dawson, Bassong, Bale; Kranjcar, Huddlestone, Palacios, Modric; Defoe, Pavlyuchenko.

SUBS - Alnwick, Assou-Ekotto, Dervite, Kaboul, K Walker, Crouch, Gudjohnsen.

That to me suggests that Niko will start from the right.

As good as it is going to get given our injuries. Only other option would have been to play Bale left mid with Ekotto behind but neither Kranjcar or Modric are particularly good on the right
