100%. Kane went round at the front with his family. Then a group of people (the rest of the players) followed through keeping their distance from the supporters. Sanchez was behind waving to the crowd which i respected then Son was right up close to the fans walking round with Lucas at the back signing shirts and being equally as close to the fans. The rest may have well been family members. Emotional send off to Lucas (and potentially Kane) but the other players not mentioned above clearly didn't give a ****
Kulu gave his shirt to a fan.

Most of the players had their kids with them (sidenote: Dier has 3 kids? Or were they nieces/nephews?). They all went around and waved (including Hugo, Romero, PEH and others who weren't playing). Kane had his kids and pregnant wife so probably understandably didn't get right up to the fans. Sonny expecially made an effort to walk the touchline, but others stayed further on the pitch. PEH was playing with his kids in the centre circle for most of it. Lucas spent ages with the fans, signing shirts, taking photos, etc.

Thought I’d pop my head in to say how utterly fucked we are as a club. That was seriously fucking horrendous today. Cringeworthingly bad. I honestly cannot see a way out of this mess. This team at present will be fighting relegation next season without doubt. When the owners of the club decide what players come in or go out you have a massive fucking problem. Look at Chelsea, they are fucked because of Boehly. We are fucked because of Levy. Neither of them know fuck all about football and it clearly shows. Trying to think of one thing positive to say about our club…but can’t. Night.

People underestimate how bad things truly are. And I do think that, unless we spend a fortune come summer, we will have a relegation battle on our hands. There is still also not enough pressure on Levy and Enic to bring about change - so frustrating. Why waste another few years if change could come tomorrow?

The new manager is gonna be told to work with what he’s got. Budget has gone now European football has gone Mr
slot
Why should the budget be gone now. We had CL football THIS season so we have that money NOW. The budget might be gone next summer but that’s not true this summer and if we want to have European football the season after next then we need to spend our CL money this summer. To not do that would be idiocy or a perverse desire to go backwards.

Fans like you haven't a fucking clue either. We could spend half a billion in the summer as you advocate and still be fucked. Unless we find leadership, it doesn't matter what we spend. We're a completely rudderless club, and yet we have fans still rattling on about spending money, when that's nearly the least of our problems

I can’t remember seeing such a lack of effort from players for quite a while. Perhaps not since under Ramos. They should be embarrassed with themselves

I've been supporting Spurs since the mid 70's and ability wise I've seen some worse Spurs sides than I've seen recently but effort and attitude wise this lot collectively have put in some of the laziest couldn't give a sh*t, most lacklustre performance I've ever seen from Spurs teams.

You would have thought that being called out as having a weak losing mentality so publicly by the manager who then parted ways with us would have at least ignited some sort of personal pride and anger to go out and prove Conte wrong, because individual and collective effort and desire should be a bare minimum, but oh no they couldn't even be arsed to do that. They have literally downed tools even more so and only showed up in very brief periods of games since that Southampton debacle, putting in some of the most pathetic and laziest feeble performances I've seen from a group in Spurs shirts since I've been supporting them.

Whoever takes over has got one hell of a job on their hands banishing the collective bad and lazy attitude that has literally stunk the place out.

It’s almost like they know they can get away with it…

I really can't subscribe to the "our club is doomed" or we're "relegation fodder" We have the best infrastructure in the PL not just for the football but to bring in an income to sustain the club for a lifetime. We have problems at board level and I can't see any chairman sitting back and watching the club drop out of the PL. It hurt enough to not get into the CL.

I'm a massive "Levy out" fan however, I would rather see him remain at the club but only in the department that will generate revenue. We've been here before (2 points from 8 games) and all we need is someone to come in a look after the football side of things (hopefully this Munn guy is successful)

Seriously peeps, think about this carefully and remember where we were to where we are now. Yes, we've gone slightly backwards but I feel confident we will get back to our best, we just need Levey to step aside and let someone who knows what they're doing to get us back to the glory days.

If Levy can't move aside and let this new guy do his thing, then we're in for a period of mediocracy but I seriously doubt we will fall into relegation.

I honestly can't see how we're going to shift the players that we need to...which is basically all of them

Even if you take out the issue of Levy trying to get a ludicrous price for players who aren't worth it, who would take some of them after some of these performances?

Yes they've been coached poorly for a while now, but the way they capitulate is pretty unforgivable

I don't think we need to shift "all of them" and no manager would ever consider doing that (Forest the exception).

We have had injuries to key midfield players one who has just returned. This hasn't helped out cause over the last quarter of a season. Conte (like Jose) being fired hasn't helped either.

The end of the day the new manager will want players and i would guess potential candidates have already informed Levy of which players they see as surplus to requirements, for what reason and who they would like to bring in.

Levy (despite all his bluster in his program notes) will never sanction half the current first team going on the cheap. But i do think N'Dombele, LoCelso, Tanganga, Sanchez and other fringe players will be gone in the Summer which will release a fair bit of salary cost that can be invested in new players.

For sure that defence will be totally different next season, it simply has to be.

Roll on end of season.
