Mason "not too sure" why we have gone from one of the tightest defences in the league to conceding sixty this season. And he wants to be our next manager? A farcical, void of ideas, full of excuses ex-Spurs player. He shouldn't be here in any coaching position next season.

14 consecutive years in Europe about to end. Can’t imagine our team having the stomach to pull off a result at Leeds either their crowd up for it

To be honest, we don't deserve it, and looking at that rabble do we really need it?

Whomever Levy appoints is going to need to be uncompromising in his approach to his tactics, team discipline and expectations with the team.

On the positive side at least Moura will no longer be an option for a sycophantic cameo role.

Gotta be said though that a few more losses are absolutely irrelevant. A few more wins would have been also. Season is dead, should all be past caring currently as we sit in limbo waiting for the change, and no more damage can be done really (Europa or Conference, or not, isn't going to be a game changer in our fortunes or finances) and the issues should and surely are already apparent. Anything happening now isn't damaging or disastrous in any way, at this point it's just hollow.

Bring in a DOF, a manager, new players, get rid of some.... I can only say again that the number one thing that needs to happen before things improve is that the players need to want to work hard.

With the ball people just amble about with it with zero purpose or intensity. Take as many touches as they want. And others barely run to make an option or make space for the man in possession.

Without it, even worse. Again today, it's just passive in the extreme. We have four stood up front not wanting to work back. Token pressing efforts. Wide open disorganised defensive lines. Zero pressure on the ball. Etc, etc, etc.

We all know our defence isn't the best, but our defensive performance is in large part killed because of what happens in front of it. Quite frankly I think we're the worst team in the league when it comes to the defensive transition - we don't counter press as a unit, we don't drop in wholesale behind the ball, we just do nothing. Our lazy fucker forwards just give up when the ball is turned over, put in fake pretend token "pressing" "attempts", and the opposition just get the ball down and play their way upfield to go at our defensive line once more.

We aren't consistently putting in good performances, winning football matches, and hopefully getting good outcomes on top of that, until we are prepared to run, roll our sleeves up and put in a shift, and set some standards to our work. We have some disgustingly lazy fuckers in this squad right now - whether they're star players or deadwood.

They overloaded against both of our full backs second half. Emerson & Davies got zero support from Son & whomever was RWF.
Brave and bright from Frank.
Mason did nothing to react.
But the attitude and work ethic second half was truly appalling, sums this group of players up right now.
I couldn't agree more, the sheer arrogance and laziness from them collectively, they literally trotted out ambled and trundled around half arsed thinking that was all they had to do to claim the 3 points as a result deservedly got dumped on their backsides by Brentford.

The only slither of urgency they showed was with those two frantic headers by Richarlison for the rest of the second half they looked amd played like rhey couldn't give a toss and it was the biggest two fingers salute they gave the fans as a season send off which pretty much sums up how they've been for most of this season.

The Mason tactic of bringing on Moura just smacked of cosy and lazy sentimentality and there is no room for that in competitive games. This demonstrates he's nowhere near ready to take the reins up. If he's serious about being a manager he needs to leave and try to see whether he's got what it takes at a lower level league club where competition will be tough. He needs to move out of the comfort zone of just hanging around to get a few games with players he's currently treating like his mates.....

I thought maybe he was showing a ruthless streak in dropping Dier (possibly Hojbjerg & Romero too, not sure if they were genuinely injured) but I agree Moura on was nonsense quite frankly. Also he needed to alter the shape and just went like for like.

Yeah, if you absolutely must bring Lucas on for the vibes - bearing in mind how comical his recent appearances have been - do it on 95 mins, don't give him a whole half an hour of headlessness.

Just got back. I haven’t read much of this thread but I’m bloody baffled at that second half performance, I was happy with the ways things were going at half time with many decent performances. What happened during the break for god sake? I didn’t even hang around for the lap of ‘honour’ and I’m the original fanboy.
Disgusting weak capitulation in the second half. Not good enough.

Their manager changed things just enough to make a difference, not good enough defending on the first two goals, they defended deeper and well after that and caught us with a sucker punch third.

Staggered at how many people are still in the stadium (should be completely empty, that’s a real statement)
It is a wrong statement though as it shows their dissapointment in the players instead of the board/Levy. If they want to make a statement, have it half full at the start of the game, if they first decide to come, and they all knew we have been shit this year, they should also stay for the lap at the end.

Leaving early after the ticket is payed ONLY hurts the players, and if i were Kane i would think, why should i care, i need to jump this ship asap.

How you have the absolute cheek to post that bollocks is beyond me. The fans ( if they insist on turning up) deserve better end of story. They pay their money and it’s good money too especially in this day and age. They have every right to boo this shit to high heaven. Let them create a toxic atmosphere because that is the only thing that will get through to the board and these shit donkey players. The fans are not the problem either. It’s the weak minded pussy fans that continue to put up with it week in week out by applauding this dross that are the problem.
Absolute tosh. What the actual F does it help if you boo your own players. Guess you were one of the guys that Booed Sanches as wel lthen? It is beyond cringe and i am so embarased when i hear all this booing.

If you feel so entiteled to boo just because you are so "nice" to pay to watch Spurs, then i feel sorry for you. Yes we can scream and talk shit on a Forum, but when you are actually at the stadium and only causing a toxic atmosphere, how do you think that will help the players in any way??
The stadium was dead silence in the first half as well when we did ok btw,.Our stadium now is more know for its great accoustics in Booing rather than cheering.

So yeah i have the absolute cheeks to post this, because it is so embarrasing, we make AFTV look great ffs.
First of you are not supporting the team, because of booing, seccond you are supporting Levy because you pay for the ticket/beers. Then after the booing and screaming then the Levy out singing begins?? it makes no sense. Stay outside the stadium and sing then.

I honestly can't see how we're going to shift the players that we need to...which is basically all of them

Even if you take out the issue of Levy trying to get a ludicrous price for players who aren't worth it, who would take some of them after some of these performances?

Yes they've been coached poorly for a while now, but the way they capitulate is pretty unforgivable
