They did and wrongly commentated that it was in bad taste.

The BBC live text feed bloke tried to take the moral high ground by criticising the Spurs fans for cheering and bemoaning Wilshere's poor luck with injuries. However, he then rather undermined his argument by writing the following sentence

"The midfielder deserves a break, regardless of what these Spurs fans think."

Which, I thought, nicely summed up the mood of the crowd, although one or two of the more even-handed elements might have settled for minor ligament damage or even heavy bruising.

It's not like he's died or isn't getting paid. I'm not ashamed to say I cheered when he went down and I'll cheer the next 10 times as well.

Sympathy for that little shit?
Cry me a fucking river.
I don't have sympathy for him, I just don't subscribe to cheering someone being hurt and i have no issue claiming the morale high ground.

You want "revenge"? Then let's stuff Arsenal at home, in the league standings and trophy haul. Then show him his embarrassing drunken behavior and cheer when he never gets near the England shirt again.

That to me is payback.
Obviously Kane didn't deliberately hurt him, but I get the feeling too many on here wish he had.

I'm sure he didn't but I am no where near as sure it wasn't intended the other way around. ie: Wiltshire on Kane:mad:.
Would suit Arsenal down to the ground:mad:

Wilshere injured himself attempting to injure Harry Kane.

No doubt in my mind he went for Kane. Too bad for him, he's made of glass.

Considering Wilshere has never been slow in mocking our misfortune and the fact it clearly wasn't a serious injury, I don't think it was in bad taste at all. It was someone getting as good as he dished out. As they stated on Sunday Supplement, I don't think WIlshere would have expected any different.

I certainly don't like the man, don't get the media England love in one bit, but I will not cheer another person getting injured. I will however take a degree of joy in this coming back to bite him in the sense that Spurs have overtaken Arsenal and his career has nose dived.

He spat at a taxi driver who was wearing a Spurs hat, that little scrote can rot in hell.

Eh. Most people i wont cheer if they get hurt. BUT I will ALWAYS cheer and get tons of joy when a select few go down with injury. They are Wheelchair, Wal****, Costa, Fiberglass and a random one here but, Can(i hate him with the white hot fire of a thousand suns).

9563 mins
69 Goals

Kane:
109 Games

69 Goals

Remarkable stat lost in the match thread. Added another stat. What would H do with that extra 1000minutes?!

Looked like one of those 'I don't really fancy this anymore' injuries to be honest.

I've looked at the incident again. He loses the ball, gets frustrated so goes in hard on Kane. But ends up injuring himself instead of who he intended to injure.

If someone asked me to sum up Wilshere's career, I'd send them a clip of that 30 second phase of play, titled LOL with our crowd chanting 'it's happened again' as the background music.
