Don't count on it. Kane will be behind Ade, he has always been more highly thought of as a No.9 support striker than an out and out striker.

Haha that's not a 4-4-2. Kane playing the central role, which I like. Think he's far more effective than Paulinho.

Agreed. Have to wonder if he'll get the league start on the weekend. Poch did say recently that regardless of player, good performances would be rewarded and poor performances punished (in reference to Capoue from the City match).

I thought JV would start- Poch has no faith in Vlad.

Good Ade is starting- Soldado will now start on Sunday which is good.

No Lennon= Pochettino doesn't like him. I suppose if Lamela scores it will build up his confidence.

No idea why Capoue is starting. Might as well start Stambouli or even Paulinho. Baffling.

WTF? Just shows, as expected, that Pochettino thinks that Vlad shouldn't be playing. Verts didn't play at the weekend so he'll be fresh. He's almost definitely going to start at the weekend if Fazio is suspended- he's not going to just throw Vlad in....

I would have liked to see a youngster or two on the bench, however I do like that Poch seems to be taking this game very seriously.
