I don't mind playing two set teams for pl and europa, its just difficult atm because of our rightback injuries. I would play the following two teams for now and keep the defences together for each competition. I have Chiriches at rb but honestly would rather convert lennon to temporary right back cover (yedlin in asap) and keep the teams together than keep changing the partnerships all the time:

Pl and cup:

Lloris
naughton kaboul vertongen rose
Capoue Mason
Lamela Kane Eriksen
Soldado
Europa / league cup

Lloris / Vorm
Chiriches Dier Fazio Davies
Stambouli Bentaleb
Townsend Dembele Lennon
Adebayor
Chadli for Kane in the first and Kane for Ade in the second. I would therefore make Ade the odd one out based on current form

Just gotta post again. This just gets all the more beautiful the more I think about it. Just could not be more unSpursy how this worked out. What a wonderful, wonderful day October 23, 2014 has turned out for fans of Tottenham Hotspur.
My birthday too. Great way to spend the evening.

Bobbins what you on about.

I never said he was a CM, I said he has played there more than the lone man role where Obika more often played.

He played there for Millwall and for the U21's, I agree with your post but the fact is he has spent time at CM, its not his position but the club does like to move players about. Carroll was also a striker at 16 he isn't anymore

Sorry mate I must have mis-read your post.

Poor Chadli. Feels all left out.

To be honest I struggle putting Eriksen in the first 11 ahead of Chadli, it's just his ability in dead ball situations that means we need him on the pitch. But I really feel we need kane and Soldado to combine and Lamela has to be played consistently. I do rate Chadli tho and could be a great impact sub who can play in several positions.

I don't know whether anyone else has said anything similar, but amazing though Lamela's first was I think I'd have been more pleased had Capoue managed a slightly better touch and finished off his chance. I know that it was against a team of unknowns from the Greek league but that move would have torn virtually any defence apart - it was beautiful.

You are struggling to put in a player who scored the last 2 goals we scored in the league and prob our best play against city.

It was a thrilling game. MoPo must realise that the main reason a lot of us support Spurs is for the entertainment.

I like watching good football, personally I would like to win with the team working their nuts off rather than just an "entertainment" element.
I hope we become a more organised and efficient unit and bury "the Spurs way " bollocks deep in a 1990's annual.
