Also @IGSpur do you know positions for the following?

Seth Eliombu, Toualeu Kanga, Blair Livingstone, Regan O´connor, Isaac Pitblado, Nicholas Ralfe and Josh Setchell.

Was talking about J'neil Bennett, thought he had signed a while ago but was still on trial. I think offiicaly signed now.

Issac Pitbaldo left us last season I think and went QPR.

Setchell is a winger or AM I believe. Only other name that sounds vaguely familiar is O'connor but know nothing of em tbh

Ah..How would a 14yo kid know what our signing criteria is ? Bit of a strange question, no ?

Assume he is giving his point of view about the type of players we have and he sees join. I know he isn't recruiter but he was also picked up so may have an idea, whether it be from scouts, agents etc. Just thought I'd post. Also said they encourage individuality, which again, is something I've mentioned is quite obvious u16s and below

I can't think of anyone that has been that terrible tbh, seems strange to say given how critical one could be of the youngsters at times but looking through the list...

Austin & Whiteman will both be kept on. They've done nothing wrong.
Brown, Tanganga & tsaroulla will all be kept on.
Marsh Bennetts & Shashoua will get deals.

We know that Edwards, Roles & Sterling have deals.

That just leaves Duncan, who I still think will get a deal, and Gonzalez-Velasco, who will be very harshly done by to not get one.

Could we see, for the first time in a long time, an entire group get pro deals?

@IGSpur you have your ear to the ground. Any 2nd years hinted that they're off yet?

Not heard anything major. I know Shashoua has a pro I posted that a while ago. I heard a lot of this age group have received pros. What a lot is I don't know though.

Shashoua. Sterling, Edwards, Roles. When you compare those names and the fact Owens and Stylianides got 3rd years. I'd say imo Tanganga will get a pro. Brown will get one. Tsaroulla and Bennetts also better than Owens and Stylianides and have had great seasons, so could feasibly get pros. I'd release Velasco. May seem harsh but feel we only signed him to cover Kirby and to pick of Brentford but he hasn't shown much.

Marsh you'd think may get a pro as he is captain but on ability and potential I'd give him a 3rd year after this season. He's better than Zenon and Owens and Pritchard imo but too hit and miss this season.

Duncan is interesting. Has some performances where he looks really talented, plus he trained with England. He will definitely be kept on imo but not sure what contract.

As you say both keepers could get pros. Austin been main keeper, and Whiteman with first team.

Alternatively you could give them all pros on various contract lengths depending on potential/ability

I know this post isn't well structured was just brainstorming

See Liverpool being Linked with Solanke today. I was going to say this a couple of weeks ago, but it really wouldn't surprise me if they had a sniff around Onomah, they are quite fond of poaching talented youngsters and Inglethorpe would know all about him and would be singing his praises too, and I think he's the type of player that Klopp would like.

Solanke is end of contract though (I think), Onomah must be signed up for us till about 2020 so I'm not sure how they could poach him even if they wanted to.

I don't mean nicking him illicitly, I mean formally offering us a fee. Poaching perhaps not the right word, I just meant putting in a cheeky bid that reflects the fact that he's 20 and barely playing. Poaching from the perspective that it might not be welcome but might work if he thinks he'll get a better chance.

would have thought edwards would be a more obvious target given his contract situation.

Wouldn't stop them trying in earnest now he's on a proper contract etc.
His contract now wont run out for years, back then they tried with him and pritchard and liverpool were threatened with action iirc

Especially since Mel Johnson pretty much raided our staff

I wish we could try and sign Abraham have wanted to for a while, and I'd have taken him as a 2nd striker at the start of last season before/instead of buying Janssen. His performances this season have just confirmed what I thought. Just checked and his contract until 2019 sadly. Hopefully he gets his chance, and isn't sent on more loans for his career to stutter, could be real quality. Him and Kane would be cleaning up

If he played in the Prem would back him to get 20 goals a season and be England's next big striker but needs his chance.

Clever from Liverpool. Not quite like West Ham signing Holland but still a cheeky signing. We're producing the best youngsters at the moment anyone who pays attention to academy football will see that so taking chances is a good idea. Klopp must have seen something
