How do you rate Sterling?

I was talking about the England U20's.

Sterling I haven't seen a huge amount of tbh. I didn't see the HK friendly so not sure how he went but saw he got a goal. Something to work with though in him. He's physically decent, ok movement, ok technically, and quite robust which might help him transition to senior football.

Why he's been stuck out on the rw in his appearances this season makes no sense to me

I can only think it's a developmental choice. Onomah has a lot of the tools to become Dembele's successor so I hope it is a decision to make him more effective in the final third, where Dembele has struggled and come under criticism in the past.

I hope the US put in a formal complaint. They probably won't be able to get the decision reversed but they may be able to keep that buffoon from reffing at anything but park level in the future. Disgraceful.

Interesting, Spurs U15's in the USA at the moment have BORROWED (not trialists) 4 players from Ipswich Town (including the much sought after Ben Knight - England U15). The club the size of Spurs having to borrow 4 players suggests either loads of injuries or a clear out has taken place. Other suggestions or thoughts from those more knowledgeable would be appreciated. The other 3 Ipswich players are Zak Brown (FW), Nyan Mesuria and Liam Gibbs.

I'm guessing international duty has eaten into the squad, we have a lot of internationals at that level. There is also usually a clear out at U15 as well so that may be a factor. Our U15/16 group is usually 11-15 kids, our U14 group is much bigger.

Surely we're going to have a problem with both Onomah and Winks playing in the same position.

I don't think that's going to be an issue for a year or two due to their ages/experience and the likelihood of Onomah getting played, but eventually, if Onomah did make it, it could be unless we shift to a 433 sometimes.

For me I see winks in a more advanced role .just physically I think he'd suit that better a lallana David silva type role

He doesn't really have the same dribbling skills as those two. And, ironically, both of those two have been moved backwards into cm3's by their managers.

I see Winks more in the Herrera mould, busy but in the footballing way, although Herrera is a bit better without the ball than Winks, understandably at this stage.

Was hoping to watch that game live. Know when the final is shown. Cirkin continues to look quality from previous video. Pretty sure it was him.

Knight massively rated at Ipswich wonder if we will try and get him.

Other news Bennett has now signed for us after trialling.

Also wondered why I hadn't seen/heard much from Pedder this season, found out he suffered 2 broken arms I suspect at different times.
