Kaziah Sterling just scored for the first team in a friendly against FC Kitchee of Hong Kong. Lovely calm finish.

My first thought when I saw Amos was that we can't play him next season. Looks far from ready and very small for the position. Lesniak more of a man, looks like he belong, albeit limited as a player. Commentator said Lesniak have interest from Championship clubs.

Just finished watching the U20 game. Onomah is such a classy player. When played in his correct role, he's got everything, he presses well, he'll get a foot in, he can move with the ball in that rare way where he has strength and balance but he seems to glide past players, sometimes with just a shimmy that seems to throw them off balance. He doesn't do it loads, but it's a great thing for a CM to have in his armoury. And then there's his passing, the boy just has such a good head on his shoulders, not only does he rarely waste the ball, but his choice making is exceptional, he has that game picture constantly in his head and just makes the right choice most of the time. I can't remember who was arguing with me earlier in the season, saying he's not incisive around the box, but this was more evidence that Onamah is incisive, playing at least three great through balls that were wasted by people like Lookman.

I really liked Ejaria as well. Him and Onomah were a good pairing, hell, they are probably better than the senior teams CM2 right now.

KWP was his usual self, busy and technically good, defensively tenacious, just hampered somewhat by playing left and having Lookman ahead of him. Two inverted right footers on the left, and several times KWP got himself into great forward positions only for forward players like Lookman to just constantly put their heads down and choose to try and take on players instead of playing the right pass.

None of the front players were great really, I don't really know what Solanke is, a forward, an AM ? Kenny went on a couple of good surges but technically is not a patch on KWP. It's not just what KWP can offer in a purely attacking sense, it's that KWP is so comfortable on the ball he contributes to general gameplay too, like an auxiliary midfielder.
