Other people get more joy moaning about people not happy with the way the clubs running.

Sure you're enjoying Levy's fantastic stewardship through all of this and the position he has left the first team in before the 1st game of the season.

I don't know if it's intentional but you come across as extremely condescending.
No, I don't. I think he's made a lot of mistakes, however its easy to sit on a forum and talk about how things could have been done better.

I responded to you with the disdain it deserved. You're the one throwing out comments thay fans are happy about balance sheets. It's a load of bollocks. I don't know anyone who really measures spurs by profitability, however the reality is that we have to run off our own finances.

It really isn't about this summer. This is more about the Espirito Santo/Mourinho/Conte appointments. Levy did the damage then when Harry had years left on the contract.

Now, with 12 months left. 100m is a good price for us.

But, let's see how we spend it.
100m what?

He’ll probably roll back the ticket price increases now. Just to show he’s in touch with the customer base, sorry, fanbase.

I mean, you've just made a comment that some fans are more interested in the balance sheet than trophies and then have the gall to call another poster condescending 🤣

Deadline should have been last week latest. Meet our requirements in full or fck off.

Levy has brought massive disruption to Ange’s prep by ceding such a late deadline to Bayern.

Despise the bloke

So, if Levy agreed with kane that he would accept an offer to the value of x, and then bayern offer said amount wouldn't levy be obliged to let kane decide for himself.

Do we owe Kane that?

How can you despise someone you don't know?

Garbage chariman. Garbage steward of the club. Sell our club immediately. A lower rhan acceptable price?!?!?!? Yeah fuck you daniel. Get out. You & your criminal co-owner. Scumbags. Make the ground as toxic as possible. Ambitionless owners who need to go. Now. Fuck ENIC.

The saddest thing about this is that I probably won't get to see your reaction when Kane walks out to an EPL team for nothing in 12 month's time. Fuck me! It would have been biblical.

Yeah, it's not the fact that he's choosing to cash in on Kane now, with a year left on his contract that causes the deep dissatisfaction - it's the failing to build a winning team around him for the previous 5 years. The opportunity was there to do so, granted we might now be selling him anyway but at least we'd have some glory to look back on fondly. Instead, what have we got to go our separate ways with other than regret and a healthy FFP equation?

Whether he means to do it or not, this club has been hamstrung by an excessively cautious approach in the boardroom for many seasons. The stadium was once a very good excuse for that - and I think a lot of us accepted it on the basis that it would be the 'gamechanger' promised.

I don't believe, and haven't for a good while now, that we can achieve any kind of sporting success under this regime. Nothing they have shown us gives cause for optimism that this time will be different - unlike the last time, or the time before that, or the time before the time before that.

Surely we've all seen this movie enough times by now to know how it ends?

They'll always let you down in the end.

Yeah ultimately, the time to be winning trophies with Kane was the last nine or ten seasons not predicting we might win trophies during the next few years under Ange.

I agree we have been excessively cautious but the problems go deeper than that. We have made some truly terrible footballing decisions which have taken the club in a terrible direction during the last four seasons. We went from being one of the most exciting teams in the league to one of the most boring. It's sucked all the life out of the club.

Yeah… but… but… this time will be different… because of reasons…

I always think, did we go win now to try and keep the likes of Kane happy?

He did down tools on Poch.

Ok, I will bite.................................

Because he has taken away something that I have had a passion for for nearly 40 years. Bit by bit he has sucked the joy, passion and life out of the club and turned it into a numbers game. He's appointed the most disastrous managers time and time again (he got lucky with Poch in my opinion) and has overseen appointments and recruitment in both the playing and non playing staff that that are just absurd.

In no other multibillion pound company would he still be here, but its never his fault and people keep lording his "achievements".

I haven't spent a penny on the club for 4 years now, I don't watch games, I barely look for results. The only thing "spurs" I still enjoy is SC, but the apathy from our fans in just accepting the shit that flows from the very top is just unbelievable.

We are selling (or at least open to) a once in a generation talent, who's been a great servant for the club, who seems like they would stay forever if we only showed a bit of bloody ambition, but yet there are still people making excuses for him.

So yeah, I do despise him and everything he stands for.

So you stopped going after we reached a Champions league final? I have to admit, that is an odd time to give up, considering the shit you had to endure the last

You blame someone for your decision not to attend.

I think it was a combination of win-now and a naive belief that the likes of Mourinho and Conte would be enough. That Levy could cut corners with player recruitment because having a "super coach" would give us that edge. To be fair, I think Mourinho was whispering in Levy's ear, telling him he could win things with that squad.

Ok, believe what you like, keep your head buried in the sand if you so wish, but you asked a question, I answered honestly, if you don't like the answer that's your problem.................................

Agree 100% i've upset quite a few of the Levy fans lately and today with my opinions 🤣
They’re aren’tjust you guys and Levy “fans”. We aren’t his fans, we just don’t think he’s responsible for as much as you think he is and that some of the decisions he has to make are way harder than they seem.

Take this kane one. It’s clear that the fan base are split that it’s begrudgingly the right thing to do vs not. Yet it’s black and white to some that he’s the devil for accepting it and doing so at the wrong ish time. It’s clearer not that clear!

Hey, I'm not the grown man sitting here blaming someone for my own decision.

I sat in the stands when we were 6-1 down to Chelsea.

I go because I want to go. I don't care about Levy and enic. They certainly don't form a basis for why I chose to go.

I've been going for over 25 years,.and I've had great and terrible times. It's part of supporting.

Oh bore off, you asked a question, I answered.
If we are playing the " who is the most loyal supporter" game I was at Plough Lane in 91 when we lost 5-1 so don't give me the high and mighty "just being part of supporting" shit.
I thought you were genuine and gave you the benefit of the doubt when others accused you of trolling, but wish I hadn't bothered engaging.......................................................
