Results like tonight only help AC. Poor results and fan unrest give DL an easy way out.
Tricky one as wouldn’t poor results just make the fans turn more on Levy like after the Villa game there was no “Conte out” it was all “Levy get out of our club”?

Ok/good results just keep the unrest at bay whilst we meander around 5/6th…

But then again if Conte does keep getting good enough results then he deserves to be backed more so it could force levy’s hand a bit more.

Very interesting times ahead.

No the Levy out chants do very little tbh. And poor results mean he can get rid of Conte and justify it. However if Conte can get some good results and then he left, the pressure mounts on Levy as fans can't support a chairman who either gets rid or loses a manager who is churning out decent results.

Had a month off because I was a little fed up with it on here plus just needed a break from spending too much time on here. Needed to get away from THFC!

I took my time out during the World Cup. Didn't watch a single game except I saw about 5 minutes of the Spain Germany game on a pub TV - in the background while I was supping.

I can only thing of one thing that would make Hercules create a thread like this....Levy must be planning to replace Levy with Sol Campbell.

Where are we meeting for this protest?

Is it Levy Out, as in no longer part of THFC or sideway to having a majorly less influential role with transfers, purse-strings etc?

I'm not sure I buy the conspiracy theory that Levy is leaking about Conte's "hard training sessions" and "questionable demands for investment" in order to soften up Spurs fans for Conte's replacement with Pochettino whose training was famously "easy going" and who never ever once suggested Levy needed to spend more :cautious: :shifty:

No we won’t agree. That ‘he’s a winner’ is just a tired, lame way of excusing everything he does and blaming everyone else. Still you have bought into him well. Right now he it to me more a serial killer … killing any joy to be found on a football pitch.

Conte isn't perfect, no manager is. He's stubborn and frustrating at times.

The point is we've reached a point where any manager is just a foil for Levy's nonsense.

Appointing managers, buying players they expressly don't don't want, and who we then can't shift so block the next manager's plans.

Then panicking when it doesn't work, sacking the manager and starting again.

I want to see a project out. Any project. Build a Conte team, then judge him fairly. We might as well. Every other club who followed the blueprint had a bumpy journey but ultimately thrived.

Both Inter and Juve hadn't won in years. He built that culture, and were both brilliant teams.

Our mentality has been mostly awful for 20 years. Fringe players think they can out last the manager, so kick up a stink to expedite a sacking that might suit them. History has proven them right.

We're getting nowhere and the league is only going to get more competitive.

If we want to finish top 4, we've got to plan and fight like we're going for the league. If we want to finish top 6, we've got to aim for top 4.

It's hard enough with our budget, we simply cannot have a Chairman meddling with transfer policy any longer.

It's destroying our prospects, and our reputation as a serious club to future managers.

I really really hope that all this stuff about Conte's training sessions isn't some way of doing the dirty on him. That would be really snide.

Especially if the training plan was created by Gian Piero Ventrone. I can imagine Conte would be quite rightly unhappy if that was the case.

I disagree mate, the levy out chants don’t do very little, it’s terrible PR for him and the club and he won’t like it one bit, if it becomes a regular theme at matches and in bigger and bigger numbers it will have an effect like it has done at other clubs like Newcastle, Man.U, Arsenal, Liverpool etc, Levy is only human and if nothing else it could force uncle Joe’s hand a bit so there are many benefits to large sections regularly voicing their distain towards Levy imo.

The on the pitch results are a double edged sword right now imo as if the results get worse and worse the fans won’t blame conte they’ll blame levy for not sufficiently giving conte what he needs, if the results stay as they are and we meander in 5-7th then there will be rumblings of discontent but probably not enough to make a difference, if we start doing well again and look certs for top4 and small chance of a trophy then the fans will tone down the noise against levy and focus more on the football.

That sounds good but unless Levy changes a habit of a lifetime and continues to back Conte window after window then we will be forever in this messy loop.

Without knowing the full ins and outs I can see why Herc started this thread and why others on here are at the end of their tether with Levy now because many are finally now waking up and smelling the coffee with regards to the fish rotting from the head and our club being stuck in this depressing rinse and repeat cycle forevermore unless Levy is completely removed from the football side of the club and we start to act like a proper club that wants to win things internally and as a result on the pitch.

Quite pivotal times right now at our great club.

I cannot reveal
Then don't start the thread... How is this helpful. We all obviously enjoy ITK and take it with a pinch of salt, especially when it comes from this 'source', but this is actually damaging to the cause, stirring shit up. Get behind the club
