Todays the day he looks at the jizz stained Rafa vdv poster of yesteryear and opens a babycham. The good old days.

Can just imagine that conversation last night

ANGE: Yeah Daniel I made 9 changes and geez this squad is shit, we need about 5 or 6 just to give ourselves a chance of CL

DAN: 5 or 6, are you sure? That can’t be right, oh wait you’re cutting out….Ange, Ange, I can’t hear you……line goes dead

ANGE: Strewth, the phone line was perfect from Melbourne!

Frankly, I expect a bit more than that. There is no reason why we can't compete for the domestic cups and the Europa League or Europa Conference League.
Not if your no1 priority is finishing as high as possible in the league and it’s made crystal clear that CL football is the only goal

Happens every single season whilst Danny boy talks about having a squad strong enough to compete on all fronts lol lol

We can barely compete on 1

That team selection last night was a disgrace, if the coach really wanted to see what his other players are like, he could have rotated them for Bournemouth. To be honest, his excuse is really pathetic considering we have no Europe, this was one game he should not have put the fringe players in. There is no excuse for any rotation. I bet if it was a Champions league game last night, he wouldnt have made that many changes. The guidance for him to select a team like that must have been influenced by the objectives set for him by the guys at the top.
To think it's Levy who wanted to rotate those players and not Ange is just really laughable and has absolutely zero evidence to prove it.
Fulham, Wolves, Bournemouth are other PL teams who played yesterday and all of them massively rotate their squad. Poch already announced in his press conference he will give 5 debuts for young players. As @Bluto Blutarsky said in Ange thread, he made exactly nine changes for first cup game in 22/23 season at Celtic

I’ll be completely done with Daniel Levy and ENIC if the remaining business we do is a winger on loan and a replacement CB for our deadwood.

If it’s a straight choice between Fati OR Johnson, serious questions need to start being raised about what ENIC are doing with the money this club is making.

Last year we had the “cash injection” which actually turned out to be our entire transfer budget, ignoring the stadium revenue, TV and CL qualification money.

Now, after rinsing the fans dry with price increases and selling our greatest ever player for a nine-figure sum, it seems as if ENIC are once again going to plead poverty. If we don’t sign Johnson and end up selling Hojbjerg, we may genuinely break even this summer.

The fans and the club are being milked here. It’s a disgrace.

Again (and without meaning to make this about you specifically) here is another example of someone being conditioned to think that this is ok.

none of us would disagree that the signings are good. The problem is it’s taken so long to replace the likes of Eriksen, Dembele, Rose, Jan, Walker that the rest of the squad is just bang average and that was what we saw last night.

a proper club that cares about football would’ve moved on those surplus to requirements ages ago and signed those quality players ages ago.

Our board and owners are way too slow and care way too much about their bottom line rather than football.

Don't disagree and I literally stated I'm in the levy out camp.

But still think our business in the last two three windows has been decent.

Maddison, Bentancur, Porro, bis, sarr, Romero, zeki, vdv, vicario are all good signings. Ange is looking like a fairly inspired move. Signing Brazil's main /premier league ready striker doesn't sound entirely without merit without the benefit of hindsight. We can't just replace an entire shit squad in a couple of windows. We have to start with the first team first which it seems we have?

Frankly I think yesterdays result is much more on Ange than levy. With no Europe and break just around the corner no need at all to mix it up to that degree. Hopefully a tough lesson learnt. Take it on the chin. He knows like we know now, these turds can't be polished.

Do I think ultimately levy will have to go for us to achieve big things, yep I do. Cross my fingers every time I hear is linked with a takeover. But what I'm seeing is us paying the price for shit recruitment and management 2-3 years ago not this window or even last couple windows, since he started to offload recruitmentto paratici it has been decent and moving in the right direction.

Get a decent striker in and a bit of cover and i'll take this window all day long, will be happy with it. Not scared to say it.

Also.. 'conditioned' 😂. No just got an opinion that isn't hysterical.

It took us 6 years to rebuild a team around a striker. Now we are close to having a decent starting XI around a striker, we need a striker! That's the story of Levy's tenure and why I'm completely done with him. The man is a ****.

Yep if it’s just Fati on loan and a CB it’ll be clear as day they’re just pocketing money from the club. Has to be Fati & Johnson & a CB minimum but we all know how this most likely ends.

That being said Ange has said from day 1 there has been a plan, we’ve bought in certain areas we needed to on the likelyhood Kane was going, now end of the window we’re shifting a few more on and then will look to make a few more signings after that the number and quality of those signings will show if anything has changed of it baldy is running things as per.

The business we’ve done so far I’d have expected us to do regardless of Kane being sold. And Levy can’t dress up Porro and Kulusevski as part of this spend either otherwise that’s more previous windows in which we essentially spent noting.

Think your done with the club then as most of us know that is what Levy will do at the maximum and i even doubt he will do this.
Sure some will forget to ask questions about where the Kane and other transfer money has gone at the end of this window.
Usual shit window coming up why do we even bother to get excited anymore as Levy always suckers us all.

1. Levy/Lewis do not pocket profit, Levy pays himself a very large wage and Lewis benefits from the increased value of the club.
2. Each transfer spend will be a separate yearly budget (June to June) so the Porro/Kulu fees will come out of this years budget.
3. We made an £84 million loss three years ago and a £50 million loss two years ago (no results for last season yet but as we deferred payment for the above two it's most likely a loss) so there is no profit!

I think I got banned from the transfer section for saying, we use transfer hype to sell season tickets then end up with a net zero net spend.

My accountant can choose if we make a loss or profit most years.

Looking at the net profit figures (I.e after amortisation and depreciation) is very misleading.

Their ever expansive property portfolio and all those terrible Levy punts & manager failures assist greatly in making a very good thing look not so good…

Joe and Dan know exactly what they’re doing, I mean BSODL can’t have it both ways, New stadium, PL, CL, TV, Kane money, 400m FFP flexibility, 9th richest club and yet we’re still at last minute who falls on Dannys lap loans is best we can do? If true Levy and Joe are really bad with money and if not true they’re greedy manipulative you know what…

A buddy and I were talking about the Kane money yesterday. We were wondering if Levy has already booked some of the money towards prior purchases such as Maddison etc.

Or do we actually still have 100m+ to make a big purchase in the near future?

I’m pretty sure that the Kane money has already been spent mate. It was spent before he left. This is the way ENIC operate.

Honestly as others have said, this business we’ve done up to this point would be satisfactory for a club of our stature if Kane had stayed.

With him gone, it’s not unreasonable to expect a large chunk of money to now be spent improving the attack that Levy has just blown a hole through.

The optics of spending £0 and loaning a winger from Barca after selling Kane for £100m is horrendous too.

Saying that, it sounds remarkably similar to our LCB hunt last summer, where we were linked with £60m+ players like Bastoni and Gvardiol, only to settle on a loan from Barca…

Exactly, always the same big money players who we never buy, so either the money never excisited or where is it

Personally think it’s all hype / smoke and mirrors to save face / sell tickets
