I think Levy & co have failed the coaching staff and the fans this off season, simply because Levy & co, need us to spend the cash on tickets, new merchandise, etc. But they have failed to give us anything this summer in return, even the prospect of improving the bench is all we are looking for. And this in turn would let the coaching staff do their jobs properly for the new season, there is no point bring in players at the end of the window like what was shown last season by Sissoko, they need a pre-season to adapt to the new set up.
Especially in a time when they would like us to purchase over inflated tickets for a pre-season friendly against Juventus. And then Chelsea tickets are about to go on general release, they has messed up this summer so far in my books.
Look at Everton for example how many signings and a Europa League qualifier was sold out, it’s not about the number for new signings it’s about doing things right, and as far as I’m concerned they have messed up the transfer window so far, and mugged off the fans with the prices for Wembley.
Price it right, or get the fans something to justify the prices of the temporary home.
This would be fine if it were true. But the Juve friendly and it's ticketing is nothing to with the club.

Agree with your point but the Morata talk was from two years ago not as relevant to this window. As everyone including Levy has said we will wait for the market to calm down before moving. JJ has suggested we have irons in the fire and I'm sure we will strike when the time is right.
But even two years ago Morata would have been an expensive signing on large wages. It doesn't really change anything.

It's such an important point that Poch makes about players not wanting to come and sit on our bench when they know it's gonna be hard to get in front of a current first eleven player. Our issue is that we can't offer to pay 100k pw to convince them to be a squad player like Chelsea did with Batshuayi or Man City with Danillo.

It's EVERY year!!! If we have targets GET EM! Don't piss ball about trying to save a couple of quid. The whole 'well run club' line is bollocks it just equates to 'tight fuckers'. Contract renewals get dragged on & on which gives our rivals chance to cherry pick our best players.
I don't think anyone has cherry picked our "best" players this summer.
The problem is not just about not paying the very top wages it is not even about paying a new player high wages it is about not paying them higher wages and fucking up the equilibrium amongst the squad which means we need the players we sign to buy into the ethos at the club.
Trying to sell a club and it's future to a player and hos agent is not as easy as buying them with megawages so it takes time, the positive in that is that if they come we can expect them to have the right attitude.
I bet Poch knows that but he may still get a little frustrated at times, it doesn't mean he is going to throw his toys out of the pram.

Seems Neymar is PSG bound, Liverpool won't sell Coutinho so Barca will move onto Eriksen, Levy will see £££ so he'll 'reluctantly' sell.

Really can see an exodus, AUDERE EST FACERE......what a load of shit!!!

That's quite the scenario you've envisaged, I look forward to see it never happening.

Relevent Sports booked Wembley and invited us and Juve to play, and set the ticket prices...

Not sure how it can be a stick to beat Spurs with.

Stub Hub gave Spurs money for the management of re-sale tickets in the name of Spurs, and the backing of Spurs, with total disregard to Spurs Fans.
And again Spurs accepted money via a events company to put on a pre season friendly against Juventus, which was marketed like it was in the name of Spurs.

That said United and Liverpool are playing pre-season friendlies in Dublin over the next few days and the Prices range from £75-£130 per ticket, so we aren't the only ones that have total disregard for fans.
