It has and when we hired Jose I thought that was a statement of intent but I think this is more serious than that.
If he has agreed to come then we have to be prepared to back him and I think he can deliver, we are only five points off 4th so who knows CL could be possible.
Whatever way you look at it this is a serious statement of intent by hiring one of the best managers in world football.
Yep. This does seem to be an order of magnitude higher.

Did anyone not think this was the case? I thought we all know it wasn't a Saturday night special, I'm not even sure Saturday sealed the deal it just brought it forward a week from the international break.
What I found odd was that the media were so obsessed with Ole having to save his job during that match that they didn't once think that Nuno was in danger. I was pretty confident whoever lost that match badly got the sack

I’m really looking forward to watching Thursday’s game. Want to see who he starts with and how we play.

I think I am enjoying the optimism and good feeling amongst all Spurs fans even moreso than looking forward to the announcement. Feels like a while since we have felt like this ..

It's rumored that he's been offered a 18 months contract. That's an safe option and a good option made if true. With Conte you never know what you get and the odds on him walking away after a season is pretty high

Prof from COYS on background to Nino sacking
”Discussions about his fit for the club started right after the NLD. They started quietly feeling out possible replacement options after the vitesse/spammers blunder. United game sealed the deal.”

That’s funny cos discussions about his fit for the club started on here the day he joined!

The media were all over it and called the game El Sacko.
