Surely just use Sessegnon at RWB as an inverted Ramdeuter with the ball, reverting to a Mezzala in transition, and thus (almost too obviously) a floating Regista in possession?

That will keep the opposition on their toes!

Exactly, he could well stick with PEH and Skipp and have a front three instead like he did at Chelsea, although i think he will go with the Inter system. Ether way it will def be three at the back.

Conte comes with two scenarios IMO.

1) Levy will continue to be Levy in which case this whole thing will last 6-18 months and be one hell of a wild ride before crashing in spectacular fashion.
2) Levy has accepted that things need to change to keep pace with the growing top of the PL and this will actually be the catalyst to the purse opening up.

Either one is an improvement over watching 30 more games of Nuno.

If Conte is going to employ his 3 ball-playing CB system, you'd think we'll need at least 2 quality CBs in asap.

We'll probably need at least 5 in the squad, which would mean Romero for definite, no idea how Tanganga and Rodon would do in that system, while Dier and Sanchez probably need to leave.

Rodon has looked quite comfortable on the ball when we’ve actually played him.

I’d like to see Rodon - Romero - Tanganga

(There’s also a potential second string in Davies - Dier - Sanchez for games we want to throw! ? )

Question: If we appoint Conte are people going to be happy with winning football matches his way? Because lets face it he will win us football matches but it won't be glorious free flowing "Spurs DNA" football.

Winning football is always glorious but I fully understand that you have more chance of finding a solution for climate change before you change this squad into winners.

I am hopeful though that we might turn up to games now and actually look like we have a plan, we are committed and that he starts to do what most of us have been saying for a while and give those not pulling their weight a proper kicking.

Plus it has to be better than having another 18 months under nuno.

In terms of gets this deal with Conte over the line, if as reported his main demands have been met, it won’t take long to announce. Main reason being that during talks and negotiations over the summer he would have already been shown around the ground, training facilities etc and met the people at the top of the club.
