All the Real players that you mention were already established when they were bought. Isco is yet to prove himself beyond Real. Kante is a match winner. Conte knows how to defend and Kante will be to Chelsea like Makelele was to Real.

What's the difference between Isco and Ozil then? Ozil only had 101 first team appearances for Werder Bremen and Schalke when he signed for Real...
And 'Match winner' is not the term for a player like Kante, otherwise any player on the field that helps you win can be called one.

There is no "probable" about it. Isco is 2 or 3 levels better than Payet.

I've never been around for a "surprise" big late window signing, as I wasn't around for the VDV transfer. Lloris would maybe have qualified, but I don't think that was a surprise.

I remember us deliberately putting out a weakend team against the second best team in the Bundesliga and once again treating the competition in an arrogant and disrespectful manner. Our defeat had nothing to do with our squad and everything to do with our attitude.
