Yeah. I always liked him. Felt he was a player who could always do a job as a utility player wen needed.

To be fair to adie, posters (especially those used to following transfer activity online) should know that when they read ANY post that predicts the future and then complain when something doesn't happen, actually they are being somewhat slow in the brain department.

But when they say "it's a done deal" then its not predicting the future is it. They are claiming to know before everyone else that something has been done and will be announced shortly. That is not predicting the future at all. That is trying to appear cleaver and failing, and therefore being slow in the brain department.

Yeah I was, it was quite funny watch Geraint Hughes and his team bored out of their skulls for two hours before Geraint went all manic and excited while on the phone. I was gutted that I couldn't bring it to you guys that 5 minutes before it was on the telly but unfortunately the site was overloaded and I couldn't get on. Bit more than 2 minutes for me, I drove from Hendon. Was so chuffed to get Clive Allen's autograph, I still go all shaky at the knees around Spurs players and ex players.

Also, from now on I'll have no ill comment to make about Jacqui Oatley's commentary abilities, the girl is sweet as anything (wasn't there for Beeb but for another broacaster of some sort). I think she was quite chuffed that I recognised her.
