Again, you're just wrong.

Levy ultimately signs the cheques and has veto on selling players. Paratici and Hitchen have done all the work but the yes/no decision is up to Levy.
Seems like a pointless appointment then really. Basically gets someone to do all the negotiation for him, and then he can rock up and say “nah”.

Fuck me. Baffled.

Okay didnt Valenciayid mention earlier that the club have now realised that getting CL is so important as that’s what the stadium is built for… so what has changed since then? Cause Levy hasnt. Just when you think the bald prick is starting to get some credit with the way he handled the Kane situation, he then does a 180 shit move like this

It’s a bit foolish to think that Levy would have no say for the in-comings, when he was controlling the major potential out-going off the club all Summer.

All Levy has done is paid for Paratici’s little black book. Whilst Levy is in charge of the purse strings at the club, you all will be happy that we’ve got top dollar for every player that wants to leave, meanwhile on the other hand being upset that we’ve missed out on an integral part of the first team as the Chairman won’t pay the required fee.

Saying I disagree - we’re top of the league, adding a new RB, Kane not firing yet, havent really seen Gil, Lo Celso or N’Dom yet … it’s a stretch to say long hard season!

I think at the moment we’re in the mix for 4th-6th placed finish
Going for a walk with the kids but there’s much about your post you could apply to at the beginning of last season and look how that went

Kept the best striker in the world for another year (y) Got some promising players through the door, had a better window than many and top of the league after 3 games. COYS

I've learnt over the windows that there comes a certain stage at which point you can see exactly how the window will turn out.

I think this window people started showing concern at exactly the right time. I think it was fair game.

In the past we've had people whinging from late July, early August, which is ridiculous and I didn't think it was as bad this year.

I think people have had every right to 'bedwet' as they've been more patient.

Completely agree,

I think that it's so extremely rare for late deals to be done without any media smoke, you need a certain amount of reporting on a deal to feel like we're going to actively aim to fill that position.

I think after enough years you get a feel for what type of reporting is transpiring and whether a deal is a go-er and for me the Traore reporting was completely inline with what we've seen in the past with Schneiderlin, Berahino, Zaha where it's too late in the day going to a prem club who has no time for replacements and you have to pay over the odds to get them.

I also think that bedwetter term was thrown around so easily this summer, anybody who didn't happyclap that Paratici was going to produce miracles and showed concern had that term chucked their way and it was irritating as hell, I was choosing to remain optimistic with regards to waiting for the final days of the window because I wanted to give Paratici and to an extent Levy a fair shake at this new dynamic and at the time didn't share the same opinion as the negative posters but I absolutely could understand where they were coming from.

We was told just yesterday Fab works until the last moment on deadline day? What happened to that?
10 hours before it shuts we’re done.

All smells a bit fishy.

Especially if sky say it. They want to be able to create drama near the end of the day. What better way to do it than pull the old “over to spurs, where we were told they were done for the day but does Daniel levy have a trick up his sleeve?”

Theyve done it before. I refuse we are stupid enough to go into the season again with only one striker. We can’t be that stupid.

I might be misinterpreting the tone in this post but watch it.

I think everyone know show The Goat works now and also knows we're in constant dialogue behind the scenes with all the ITKs.
I take it as what it is not as a gospel, didn’t insult anybody. ITK were wrong before and will be wrong in future like the rest of us. What I don’t like is immediate hate posting against Levy. Well if my personal opinion insult anybody this place isn’t for me.

So are Aurier and Doherty gonna be making the tea for the rest of the season? Ain't gonna get much playing time. How the f**k can you have 4 RB's and no second striker. Some would call it incompetent.

He hasn't. Up until this Fab has been in control. That said this is the first deal where it's been about serious money up front. As long as Fab has been getting good creative deals through with loans/obligations it's been fine to let him get on with it.

A lot of pressure on DL right now from those that know about football. Not sure he gives a fuck though, table speaks for itself, innit.

Which, as well as Kane staying has resulted in PLENTY more season ticket renewals than Mr Levy was expecting a month or so ago?
It is mind numbing to be here again, with a manager seemingly not being properly backed.

The fact that others haven’t just accepted it and are applying pressure gives a small modicum off hope that he might relent today. Highly unlikely he budges though I imagine.

May be if we lost all 3 games , Levy would have sanctioned it. The guy only wants to do just enough every time.
I sincerely hope he doesnt pisses off Paratici - IMO, he has done very good business for the club till now. We have to be pragmatic , yes but where we should push we should.

Suppose if it was on earlier & not now things may change again by this evening.
Hopefully some Italian mafia style persuasion going on behind the scenes

I was told along with others that not getting CL was out of the question as we need it financially moving forward.

Lol!
