Levy would never hold the gun himself - he´s got people for those sort of things.
It's better to hold a fist of cash and wave it.It's the most effective way.

CE! The reports coming out about considering a new 4 year contract with us is true. It is all about the minefield of clauses. It will not deter our quest to bring in two midfielders, which is well documented. Danny Rose wants a new contract. It is all about what he expects, and what we would possibly offer. No buyers at present for VJ, and GK.

Madrid going hard for Pogba also potentially means there's one less suitor for N'dombele. Still difficult if City and Juve are in for him, but certainly helps.
This would be brilliant, firstly because Eriksen is a fantastic player and secondly to see the backpedalling from so many fans who have been so quick to dismiss him. Personally I still think he'll go though, it'd be difficult to go from the mindset of wanting a new challenge, to wanting to commit to another 4 years at Spurs.CE! Bear in mind, when the rumours that he was looking to leave first started coming out, he was said to only be holding out for one particular club and that, failing an approach from that club, he would recommit to Spurs. Rose has earned a new contract, but the terms obviously have to be reasonable for both parties. I hope he stays and we have him and Sessegnon rotating at LB (sorry, Ben).

Also, I really hope not shifting these fucks will not impact on our incomings again. I will royally self-implode with an extraordinarily self-justified sense of frustration if this happens. Will we ever be free from the tyranny of Vinny and George?
Holy smokes, just imagine having N'Dombele, Lo Celso AND Eriksen in the same squad.
Yes please!
Don’t want to get in trouble. So I will say this once, and comment no further! As I believe it is imperative to KILL talk ‘it will effect our spending’ IT WILL NOT!!!Positive if Eriksen stays, but surely no chance we strengthen all required positions if he does.

May not be a popular decision, but even though I enjoy Rose both as a player and a character, he's way past his best physically and will only get worse. We haven't got a particularly young squad anymore, and getting a younger LB in to rotate with Davies would probably make sense, as long as it's not the left sided version of Aurier.
