Guys, could we all hit the reset button, please, I'm sick of this constant fighting.

I'm not blaming any one person, but if we could all start again and try to forget past posts/differences perhaps we could get along.

1) This is sadly, how I envisaged things panning out, although not with Crouch going too, which mystifies me.

As far as I see it - our competitors get a great deal here - Villa particularly. They get a load of money to further strengthen, one of the best goalscoring central midfielders in the country, in Ireland and Robbie Keane.

Liverpool get shot of Babel who's been at best hit and miss for them and get back Crouch, who I feel Hodgson will utlisise to great effect - see Zamora this season. Finally, also they'll have a good hold-up man for Torres to play off and I think that could become a potent partnership for them.

We'll end up with a Babbel, who won't get in the team at centre-forward or on either wing, but will increase competition in all those postiions from the bench, maybe Parker, and Bellamy. We'll be left without a single 'number 9' who can hold up play, win things in the air and provide a bit of muscle.

I imagine the bids for Huntelaar and Cardozowill fall down late in the window if we haven't made progress already and it'll be the traditional last-day panic stations.

2) I hate to sound so pessimistic on the eve of what should be a campaign we all relish after those fantastic achievements of last year, but jesus how underwhelming.

All I wanted was to keep our best players, sign experienced, international centre-back, goalscoring midfielder and number nine, and leave it at that. It's hardly bloody Agger, Ozil and 3) Klose is it?

1) :hump:;
2) No you don't[
3) :rofl::rofl::rofl:

I don't want to see Crouch go as I think his non-ariel ability is underrated. That said I don't mind Babel and fair bit of money might be OK.

I don't want to see O'Hara or Bentley go either.

This.
This 'Babel' thang is really pissing me up. He is still young, has ability, and has just been systematically mis-managed/barely played by possibly the most inept long-term manager an EPL elite team has ever had. Also, given 'Arry's record with getting the best out of players who have been struggling, shouldn't folk give 'Arry the benefit of the doubt:shrug: I bet they are the very people who were groaning about Kaboul being resigned, as well.

Doesn't explain why people think its acceptable to be rude to the fella. Were all spurs here.

I'm sure you have been unreasonably rude to me in the recent past:shrug:

Oh, and what Fazza said. KJH may or may not sign, and it may or may not work out if he does...but, in the name of God, one year ago buying him would have been a dream come true, stop acting above your station, he is just about the level we can get in. Get real.

It is member abuse if you target the poster which is what you have consistently been doing whenever Dan has posted an opinion.

Where is the line between fact and opinion? If we all knew that, ITKs would all be revered.

As Chris has suggested perhaps it's better for all concerned if you put Dan on your Ignore list.

Either that or run the risk of going over the top again and losing your access.

'Abuse' is calling someone nasty names. Now, I've called certain members nasty names, but Dan isn't one of those. I've done no more than suggest he's used his ex-ITK status (and you know as well as I that he excised anything detrimental to Wendy and Gus from his postings) to claim superior 'football knowledge'.

I've gone over the top in D&D, not here. Dan can post what he likes. Are you saying that I don't have a right of response?

Where is the line between fact and opinion? Dan's assertion that Bellamy has only played 12-15 games a season? Or the facts that I posted?

The 10 or so pages of arguments over Huntelaar in this thread baffle me.

Firstly, because spursandbarca's post was a load of horse shit and I posted as much but that got ignored and by then people had got the bit in their teeth and were acting as if we were signing him

Secondly, because there's a whole thread on Huntelaar where it all should have gone.

Take point two as a hint.

Isn't it past your bedtime?

Afterall, you'll need to be up mega early to post your spiffing
ITK round up.

Nighty night everyone!:hello:

I can see its degenerating on here.

Its been a tough day today for us all having to come down the golden ladder to find front page revelations about one of our players splattered all over the door mat.

Lets face it we are all going to have to find the good fight at work tomorrow with mongey gooner collegues wanting to stick the boot in.

We're all Spursy type chaps so we should be able to rise above the interwang sniping and say COYS. 6 Days left boys.

6 DAYS LEFT <3

I can't face any more, i'm going to bed. We will probably swap Modric for Fabianski or something whilst i'm asleep.

I see a polite hint about taking the Huntelaar guff to the appropriate thread is being ignored as much as my post explaining how spursandbarcas 'info' was crap.

There is no credible ITK on Huntelaar joining which makes all the arguing over him as pointless as Blackpool will be 4 games into the season.

So i'll ask again. PLEASE stop all this Huntelaar stuff, take it to his thread, which hasn't been used in days. For the completely bone idle among you, you can access the thread in question by clicking here.

See? I've been polite and i'm asking nicely. Next up will be the banstick.

As much as I like Crouchy, the way we play as a team when he plays really ticks me off. Long ball, long ball, we miss out quality like Modric etc and forget to play through our midfield when he plays, so for those reasons, he's out. lol.

Its not Crouchy's fault balls fly at his head constantly. His ground game (movement, control and finishing) is very underrated.

I think its more laziness on everyone else's part that they fire balls into his head.

Thats why I said the way we play as a team when Crouchy plays. It doesnt look like we will play any other way when he is in the team either and we are a far better side with the ball on the ground. Doesnt matter how good he is (and I agree he is underrated) we will never change.

No, just one. Unfortunately because he's a RR I can't even put him on ignore. I do report the personal abuse from SS57 every now and then though. It's a pretty bad example to be setting.

I'd like to see some evidence of this, i don't think i've ever seen SS57 step over the mark, at least not with you, despite the obvious temptations you offer up.
