Whilst I admire that we’re going out and making signings. I would love the team to have a bit more flair and technique. Ndombele who doesn’t play and Lo Celso aside we don’t have a lot of players with that magic and flair. Whilst I do rate Stevie Bergwjn I feel he is more of a solid squad player whilst the likes of Moura and Sissoko offer lots of running but without much brains or technique and Son to a lesser extent whilst a phenomenal athlete and a good footballer doesn’t have that wow factor that someone like Coutinho has.

He would be worth all that money, too. Only way I see that happening is if we concede a 2nd RB won’t happen and a clear out of Foyth, CCV and Aurier can somehow get us close to that asking price.

Thanks Herc - I don’t know why we waste oxygen on something that is obviously unrealistic.

For better or worse, I feel that our targets are attainable but don’t love that it’s going to come down to how many bodies we can move because it seems COVID has killed clubs across Europe. Hopefully this is a situation where once one domino falls, the rest of them do.
