I can already tell you that 1 week from deadline day we will be making a "surprise bid" that fails at the last second hahah as we have "done" every year since he has left

We've never tried by any reported knowledge.

The only thing that's ever been said is that we wouldn't turn down the opportunity - but there hasn't ever been one because it looks like he has no interest and, as Barnett says, there are very few, if any, that could afford him.

A little more from Dragon:

To be clear the lepzig player is klostermann

we are looking at him the Atlanta Rb plus one other

my height hint was re The third player who is at least 6 foot

Aarons could still happen possibly as a second choice RB but he’s way down pecking order

Luca ... omg thats a wet dream, one of my all time recent fav players, he is the don and jose bought him from us ... but regarding his age its extremely doubtful ... he would be a great player to have in the squad but doesnt really make sense and as trix has said its a no .. again makes sense ... just reminiscing about supa luka is special but that time is gone on a truley special gent.

Klostermann would be a really decent signing IMO. With RB wanting to keep Mukiele I can see game time being limited for Klostermann which is bad news for him as he's gunning for Germany's 1st choice RB in the Euros. Makes sense for all parties.

Klostermann and Castange would be brilliant business if we got both! Both players can also play left back too comfortably so it sets is up perfects ability and potential wise klostermann is the best we have been linked with he can be a top top player only problem is he had a major injury which kept him out for a full season bar 1 game not long ago

I thought Klostermann was a centre back? Or is he a Ben Davies style player for the right side of the defence?

Klostermann signed a new contract with Red Bull Leipzig, to extend until 2024, only as recently as May. I'd be very surprised if he was attainable for anything other than an exorbitant fee.

Although it causes good debate and conversation, I would head to your local supermarket and get an extra bag of Maldon for Dragon’s posts based on recent history.

Klostermann bag (dubbed by rival fans after a few below par performances) and Timmy Chestnuts would give us good options for lob-sided full backs and defensive ones on both sides

You're not hinting at us throwing names out of players which are not attainable are you?

I was simply commenting on the ITK and adding some additional information that I felt added context to that ITK.

Is Matt Doherty 6ft? Could be the third RB being alluded to by the Dragon ITK.

Between Klostermann, Doherty, Celik, Castagne & Aarons, you’d have to think one of Castagne/Celik are certs as they’d be cheaper options.

The other three would be on a different level price wise. If we sell Serge, you would like to think we could get two in, considering we only spent 3m on PEH.

I’m Irish so I’d love if Doherty was a goer.
