Leipzig CEO also already said Mukiele will only be sold for huge sum and he has 3 years on contract - Bayern, PSG are also after him.
Considering the cost involved, I cannot see Mukiele.
There is one other tall RB at Leipzig I like - Klostermann, who plays RCB for Leipzig and RB for Germany - but he also signed a new deal just recently. So, cant see any of the Leipzig RB coming to us. Our financial situation - most likely deal is Castagne from Atalanta who is on last year of his deal.

No way will we get Mukiele

Leipzig would want 40m+ for him.

I think you would be surprised...Leipzig (as well as most other Bundesliga clubs barring Bayern) have very tight wage structures as the revenue simply isn’t there in comparison to the Prem.

Money talks, Arsenal were able to lure Auba with EL football whilst BVB were in the CL, simply because the money was there!

A lot of Leipzig players have pretty reasonable release clauses and low wages...in a similar situation to Ajax the other year, they are not in a position to demand £100m for anyone or even £50m, as they simply don’t have the stature to do so...the only exception would be probably Havertz as he is a world class prospect!

Mukiele would be a FANTASTIC signing...the perfect combo of youth, pace, power, and actual defensive qualities! Started as a centre half and moved out wide!
Physically I would compare him to Tanganga with Auriers pace??

If we bought Mukiele as the long term option and then Castagne as a £10m option (last year of the contract) as a rotational option, I think that would be astute business solving both the present and long term future of our right back position!

Dragon on COYS:

We have an option on Aarons but he’s way down the pecking order Jose likes tall big athletic players the lepzig ,Atlanta and there’s one other right back( he is 6 ft or more ) i can’ post In front

we want two

we are in a one in one out phase , all the big clubs need players of the Wage bill but we have to make room to bring them in ourselves

still trying for bale as we have in previous summers but really bale would have to force it , Luca a poss too but I’m told we have bigger priorities right now in terms of filling the key positions
Bale and Modric aren't even options we are looking at.
Hmmmm.

Considering most ITK stated this window is about making SMART deals I think we can rule out a bale or modric deal

Both of Leipzig's RBs are tall, strong and quick and certainly look like the the sort of fullback Jose would like. If we could afford either of them and they'd be interested it would be an immense singing

That’s if the reference to Luca was actually Modric. It could have been Luka Jovic or Lucas Vazquez. Either way none of them would be a priority as one would be expensive and the latter is pretty naff.

As much as I would like one of the two Leipzig full backs I can’t see how we could sign either of them and another RB.

With all respect, this would be of such a high profile that only the very highest table would have knowledge. Now I’m not doubting your credentials at all Trix but it could be super high? Stratosphere!

The concept of Bale forcing anything from Madrid any more than he is now is an amusing thought. I don't think there's any more leeway available beyond doing into the kind of behaviour that they would love (e.g. the type they can use to fine him or try and cancel his contract)

I think that’s what we’d all have to be to really believe there’s a possibility Bale is coming back.
