Because the ideal clubs Zaha would like to be in for him, they WILL NOT pay the RIDICULOUS price is on his head. Now he says he loves it at Palace, and will not be leaving-Lol

Could have done with him in quite a few games this season. He really impressed me yesterday

Agree with every word of that. What worries me is whether Levy and/or Lewis look upon Poch's public statements as holding them to ransom and we have no idea how they will react to that!
Perhaps we're reading the wrong message into it all? Poch and Levy may well be holding hands at their next meeting whilst gazing into each other's eyes and discussing their latest plans for manipulating the media.

You get the feeling this will be the first of many new contracts signed.

Wonder if KWP has had assurances of more first team football - certainly hope so.

Oh god. This is my fear with backing Poch full throttle. Some of his signings have been abject failures and I believe its because he gets thesevery wrong ideas in his head based on a few performances. He needs to be saved from himself when that happens. Zaha is not close to a player we should be going after. Levy is going to have to walk the seemingly very thin line between saving Poch from himself and backing him full throttle this summer, I fear.

Thanks to GF, as usual.

One thing about his input........ why will the new contracts be sorted first?
Surely some players will want a positive sign from the club that we are going to invest in/buy top players.
Actually make purchases not hearsay.
I'm not so sure they'll accept Daniels word readily and will want to see the new players signed before committing themselves to longer contracts even if including a pay rise.

In fact giving new shiny improved contracts will show that the club are serious but also loyal to players who are part of the plan ahead ... just another way to interpret things

I have no doubt Levy will put his money where his mouth is and support Poch......
I won’t go as far as to say this is infallible, but this from VY should be stickied on page 1 of every itk thread this summer, if VY is confident we should all be.

Thanks as ever big guy!

Matt law said we're interested in both Ryan sessegnon and martial.I wanted to know whether it's a case of one or another or are we getting Ryan as a wingback and martial as a winger?

Few performances? Zaha has been consistently good for a good few seasons now.

He's kept Palace up on his own, the guy is very underrated by alot of people on here.

You could argue Sonny is more inconsistent than Zaha.

What did you say they were manipulating while gazing into each other's eyes?

He has to of had, surely? There was talk of him going otherwise.

Perhaps we are losing one of Tripps/Aurier?

Removed ya big cry-baby ;-)
But then someone else gave me a spam... Dun dun duuuunnn
On another joyous note, a friend who is a Gooner and season ticket holder, but whose wife and daughter are Spurs STHs, contacted me to say that his son was singing Spurs songs at Wembley. Hitherto, his son has been an Arse fan, but told his dad that he was thinking of switching allegiances.
