Other thoughts (though Kalou is still my bet):

Amauri is a forward very much like we need.

Palombo is what Parker would be like if he was good.

Need very much like a dose of syphilis.

This is, besides, the ITK Discussion thread, not the 'Guess Who Harry's Checking Out Tonight' thread.

He's defo looking at a player. No reason to be there otherwise. Not exactly am exciting match of teams there!

As the only really top level match on tonight, happening to be in London, at spam even, i'd be surprised if he wasn't there really. He does always bang on about how he loves to watch games. He got to watch the brothers Toure four days before we play them.

That's quite true mate. I'm thinking from a full spurs view. I'd rather stick my willy in a bee hive then go to upton park on a non spurs day!

So far today we've had bullshit ITK being posted, discussed and deleted, discussions on players where no ITK has been posted, posts on guess the player we are signing/looking at, discussions on the format of the ITK discussion thread and a whole lot more besides.

As frustrating as this window has been so far, here's hoping we get back to posting with a little bit of discipline tomorrow

Need very much like a dose of syphilis.

This is, besides, the ITK Discussion thread, not the 'Guess Who Harry's Checking Out Tonight' thread.

These days it seems more like:

a) Rumour Ranger complaining thread
b) complaining about the rumour ranger complaining thread
c) Guess the black player/why O'Neill resigned/who's Harry watching thread
d) Snippets of ITK info thread
e) People who just want to discuss general ITK, knowing that lots of like-minded people are all gathered together on the same thread..thread.

Why would Harry need to scout Kalou in a meaningless friendly? He's hardly an unknown.

He was probably just watching some footy. He does that. He's always been a football man, and will often go and see a game whenever he can. It's hardly a long trip for him and he'll probably have met up with some old friends. I doubt it means anything tbh.

Any of those is an improvement on Cheryl Cole's Norks Thread.

Or maybe not.

I think your spot on. Especially with Di Canio in town

In his first season in the EPL Kalou was probably the only player that gave the ball away more than Ghaly.

I have an idea. How about the RR's, if possible, update a piece of ITK that's been added to the forum, with the page number of the ITK discussion thread that the talk about that particular piece of ITK has started on. That way, no-one can moan about having to trawl through several pages of 'not as relevant but still quite relevant considering we've had ITK about pretty much everyone anyway' chit chat, and go straight to the point where the discussion of the aforementioned ITK has started.

The ITK discussion thread will always go slightly off topic, but this will solve (i believe) the only real problem that some people & RR have. I don't think there are any other problems (other than ITK bashing) that RR's have to deal with, so it will save them a hell of a lot of 'Can we not talk about X and Y please', as long as the thread doesn't go waaaay off topic. Also, it shouldn't be any hassle for the RR's to do this because whenever they add the thread, they'll know what page the discussion thread is on at that point anyway. If it's a non RR that adds the thread, they could add a 'p14' or 'p5' for example, at the end of the thread title, denoting what page it's on.

Wouldn't that make things easier, thus letting people carry on chatting about stuff the thread direction takes them in, rather than exactly what's supposed to be allowed?

Not surprised City won't sell to us. Why should they? We're their rivals now, like it or not, and they don't need money.

Villa, on the other hand, is suddenly looking ripe for the picking.

Just to throw an idea in from leeft-field (not saying it is true, as Citeh seem like total planks who wouldn't understand such finer points):
They might consider the possibility that they wanted to buy a player off of us in the future, and so wouldn't want to back us into a tit-for-tat corner:shrug:

Cheers for posting by the way ryantegan. Much appreciated

And this.

Agreed. Ryantegen has been fantastic this window - the fundamental point being, I think, that he gets told information almost directly from Harry without agenda - whereas most ITK's, including myself, hear it from a club position and so can be occasionally subject to manipulation.

I wonder if he has the Dan Ashcroft treatment to look forward to whenever Redknapp leaves us?

I Bloody hope not!!!

Just for the record....I'm in the brickies most games if anyone wants to share a pitcher or 2!
