No path to the target which we can really feel confidence in at the moment.

Only if we brought it down to 150 required before we lost the next wicket, would it seem credible that Bairstow and Buttler could take big enough chunks out of it to make things close.

Think par for the Root-Stokes partnership is maybe 60 more runs and taking the shine off the new ball. Any less and victory's got remoter than it is now.

I did warn you this would happen lads!
Now the England thing to do would be after giving you all hope, is to tear it away from you.
But i have a feeling it will be your test.

At last two proper test match innings,
one from England's best batsman
and the other from a player not doped up on white ball.
Still unlikely but it could actually happen.

First session will probably tell.

You mad fools.

We'll have lost before lunch.

If the Aussies get a wicket in the first half hour we will do one of our famous collapses. If we can somehow get to lunch with one more down things could get interesting

Exciting stuff, England fighting to win a test on day four of a test match.

It's the inevitable rabbit hole we all fall down when it goes wrong that gets me.

It's too early for a non alcoholic beer, isn't it?

I hope at least that they let Joe Root (66) get his hundred
before it all goes downhill.

Might have a small wager on Australia.
That should see us through.

Whats the view like in our shiny stadium?Ive not had the chance to get there.
Pretty incredible really. Looking at it from the outside you’d think the pitch views would be awful because of the sheer size, but when you get inside the stands are right on top of the pitch.

Get down there if you can, even for an U23s game!
