We'll be lucky if we bat a total of eight sessions in the entire remainder of the series :woot:

Why won't Denly's brain stop his demented persuit of those wide ones?

Maybe getting the target under 300 will calm things down and give them a sense of purpose.

At least Root and Denly are applying themselves here.
Not a lot to choose between the sides in English conditions, just they have been prepared to dig in and grind out the runs
