Wow. Sanctimonious much? How about cutting your fellow Spurs fans some slack for being (rightfully) pissed off at the cluster fuck of a season we've had?

If you can't let off steam on a Spurs forum where the fuck can you?

There's about 12 threads currently where you can do that. Please carry on (y)

Well i can understand both points, It isn't the end of the world and we could be in a lot worse of a position. However, there are others who pour their heart and soul into Tottenham and have invested a lot more than i have and everything that went wrong today did go wrong.

I'm reading comments such as "It couldn't have been any worse" and "this season has been a failure"......well, we finished 4th, we didn't get relegated, we weren't even in a relegation battle, we didn't finish in mid table obscurity...think about it...a whole load of Spurs fans had 4th position as our target this season...and we got it.
Only Chelsea's good fucking luck has deprived us of a CL place.

I think a lot of us quite reasonably adjusted our expectations as the season progressed.

It's been a failure. This team showed us all how good they really are, then massively under-performed in the last quarter of the season. We have every right to be pissed off with this capitulation.

Maybe it'll provide the valuable lesson to some of our players of just how important 2 points can be in future seasons?
A 'never give up' attitude at Spurs would be welcome after being burnt for the difference between a win and a draw.

Your first sentence is reason why most SCers are upset, SK, our hopes went sky high and we were carried away with our successes at the time.
The higher we climb, the longer the fall.
But for some to say, It couldn't have been any worse" and "this season has been a failure" is a tad over the top, bearing in mind the alternatives i gave.
Being pissed off with the capitulation... we all are!

Jesus. People need to chill the f*** out. Chelsea deserve their place in the Champs League, not through their league form, but through winning a trophy you earn the right to defend it. Its only fair.
Equally, I am happy with our 4th place finish this season. Yes 3rd was within our grasp but a cruel set of circumstances outside our control (Harry's England talk, court case) etc contributed to our poor form.
This situation is just pure fluke. Chelsea are not a good team yet had a tremendous amount of luck. It happens. We can only hope that in the near future it is our time to enjoy some of this good fortune.

In the worrds of Jesse,

'This season, I are mostly be worshipping Satan.'

It seems that cheating, abusive, racist, arrogant scumbags get the best things in life, so I'm going to give it a bash.

Couldn't hurt .................Couldit?

I'm sure it will be settled down tomorrow. Hell, all it takes is one signing with a decent youtube compilation and we'll be dreaming of glory again.

Chelsea might not be a great side, but they played their hearts out as much as that pisses me off to admit. If we had shown a tenth of that character in the final ten games or so we would of walked third at a canter.

Its not really, third best squad in the League should be finishing third. We were on course to do that with plenty to spare, but nope - we fucked it in quite spectacular fashion. Getting thumped in the Cup was a kick in the balls to, 5-1. When it rains, it really does pour.

That's hard to swallow no matter your precise stance on the matter.
