No thread yet so i'll create it.

Vorm
Walker CCV Wimmer Rose
Dembele Carroll
Lamela Onomah Chadli
Kane(c)

McGee, Davies, Mason, Winks, Bentaleb, Son, Harrison

No Dier for this game. Am not risking him in a domestic cup game with his yellow accumulation. Need him starting vs Arsenal. Tempted to start Harrison over Kane.

love to see this team. though bentaleb going from not even traveling with the team to starting three days later seems unlikely.

Rest Toby and we'll fine.

Start Kane and keep him on the bench for the return vs Fiorentina.

Win or lose but no replay. Thanks

He's started the last 2 FA Cup games so it's possible he'll play against Palace. I'm also not sure why you think that he didn't travel with the squad- he was definitely named in it.

named in what? obviously he's in the europa squad list we submit to uefa but we don't release squad lists for individual games do we? the os and spurs twitter put up about five different videos and 20 odd pictures and bentaleb was nowhere to be seen in any of them, so either he didn't travel or he's just camera shy ..

He was named in the Europa squad. Doesnt mean he traveled. And judging by the team selections since his last starts and hertyids itk from earlier today, it seems he might have found his way into the doghouse.

Lets just hope hr puts his head down and goes to work. I still think there is alot of potential in there. But he got his big contract in the summer, got hurt, lost his place in the team and instead of doing all he could to regain his place in the team, it seems he's managed to get into the doghouse and has now fallen behind Carroll and Mason. It's not what you wanna see right after giving someone a big contract.

Walker Alderweireld Wimmer Rose
Dier Dembele
Lamela Son Chadli

McGee Carter-Vickers Davies Mason Onomah Alli Eriksen

Rotate full backs as normal, let the centre backs continue to know eachother. Still a week till the next league game so no harm in playing Dier, Dembele and Kane, can give them the Fiorentina return off, but rest Eriksen and Alli. Son and Chadli should be fine to play against soon, they've played less than the other forwards.

In the return v Fiorentina, play which front 6 won't play v Swansea. So if Swansea will be Dier, Dembele, Lamela, Eriksen, Alli, Kane, then play Mason, Bentaleb, Onomah, Carroll, Son, Chadli.

Play Dier, Alderwiereld and Wimmer (Vert Jnr) -- kept everyone quiet so far and will keep Adebayor quiet. Rest Kane and Eriksen. Play Son, Onomah and Alli to worry them. Usual fullback rotation and anyone fresh in CM.

Would be nice to give Kane a full week off, but we did look a bit toothless last night without him.

Maybe this would be a good opportunity to give Harrison a go? Having said that I've no idea if he's ready to step up to that level yet.

Assuming Bentaleb isn't being frozen out then I'd like to see him and Mason and Onomah.

Other than that I'm not too fussed. Our squad is so strong at the moment that anyone who plays is likely to do well.

Do we know if Palace are planning to give a shit about this? Presumably they are as they are the very definition of mid-table at the moment.
