I think Sanchez will start, with Toby and dier coming back into the team against Liverpool on the following Thursday.

Also don’t think we’ll see dele as he’ll be off. So maybe Gedson will play on the right with bale at CAM.

Pretty spot on otherwise

Let's not take Wycombe Wanderers lightly and pick a good team please. As they showed back in 2017 as a League Two outfit at the Lane we should not be disregarding them one bit. I took them for granted then and was praying in front of my radio that I would be able to go to work on the Monday when we were 3-2 down with six regulation minutes left on the clock. Poch picked a team that struggled horribly with the task at hand and he needed to bring on the big guns...and Janssen! :

Match data
Spurs (4-2-3-1): Vorm, Trippier, Carter-Vickers, Wimmer (Dembele 60), Davies, Dier (c), Winks, Sissoko, Onomah (Dele 60), Nkoudou (Janssen 46), Son. Substitutes (not used): Pau Lopez, Walker, Walker-Peters, Wanyama.

Thanks to Dele and Sonny it all came right in the end with a 4-3 win. The highlights are a great watch:

Need to take it serious enough, but time for 2nd string

---Bale----------Lamela--------Lucas--
---------------------Vinicius----------------

Subs: Hart, Aurier, Sanchez, Davies, Ndombele, Son, Kane, Bergwijn, White

Would like to see Dele, not sure though we see him.

Last chance to rest a significant amount of first teamers this season. If our 2nd team csnt beat Wycombe then they're a waste of wages. Gives our first team ten days to rest and fully focus on Liverpool

The first team players who have played the most should br given a one week break. Bale and Co can play this one

Hart
Toby Tanganga Rodon
Doherty Winks White Davies
Bale Vinicius Lucas

Should be enough to win while pretty much fully rotating from today.

I feel we need to field nearly all our 1st team players. I have little faith in our fringe players and Wycombe will be up for the match. If we are comfortable near end of match we can then rest a few.

I would say that's a bit too radical! A good mix of youth and experience should see us through against a team that probably will only just have resumed training before facing us.

Hart, Doherty, Toby, Rodon, Davies, Sissoko, White, Bale, Lucas, Lamela and Vinicius should be able to get the job done. I would have Kane, Son and Tanguy and the other bigger names available on the bench along with Devine and Scarlett to come on later on if needed.

I respect your opinion, but it's dangerous under estimating any championship team, and has been proven in the past. Numerous times this season our fringe players have been very poor and had ro rely on the big names to help.
I'm not saying play no fringe or youngsters, just the main core of the team.
