Has to be 433 or a diamond to leave us at least 1 experienced attacking Sub. Lamela or Eriksen will an interesting call. Probably lamela anyway just in form and fitness. Incredible a CL finalist could be looking at a 17 year old as their only attacking sub if we go 4231.

Fairly confident it will be the same starting 11 as yesterday vs Inter.

Eriksen is likely off, or head not in right place.
Toby is also likely to be phased out if no new contract can be sorted, which means Sanchez starts.

fkin weird formation yesterday, that won't ever bring out the best in our record signing?!

He has to start though, as does Lamela- no shirt for Eriksen, and I also think Sanchez is looking sharper than Toby.

I'd like to see those not signing new contracts gradually phased out over the season.

Lloris
KWP
Toby
Yan
Sessignon
Ndombele
Lo Celso
Fernandes
Dybala
Kane
Son
Maybe a couple of them could be on the bench instead but it'd be nice to have it as an option.
I guess more likely as it currently stands
Hugo
KWP
Toby
Yan
Davies
Ndombele
Sissoko
Eriksen
Lamela
Kane
Son
Nice to be talking about actual games again though isn't it.
Edit: forgot Son was suspended in which case Moura.

Based on current available players and pre season form:

Lloris
Walker-Peters Alderweireld Vertonghen Rose
Ndombele Winks
Lucas Lamela Nkoudou
Kane

Gazzaniga Sanchez Aurier Skipp Sissoko Eriksen Parrott
Hopefully there’s a Lo Celso and a Sessegnon to inject but with what’s available, this is what I’d like.

That looks about right. The team and formation, though, is secondary to the performance. As with every season since Poch joined us, what I really want to see is some evidence that Poch knows how to make a team more than the sum of its players.

Ndombele is way better in a two man CM, i'll be frustrated if we start trying to play him on the left of a midfield three when he is our record signing and should be playing in his best position.

With our full backs. 4-2-3-1 is easily our best formation. But this silly diamond seems to be getting preference. Bizarre.

Christ thats a depressing team. We will do well to finish 6th this season. We are in serious bother. And i can see Eriksen leaving after premier league deadline and we wont have signed a replacement.

If you find that line up depressing, I dread to think how you'd have reacted to this lineup:

Do well to finish 6th is massive hyperbole. Only Manchester City and Liverpool have better squads than us, and only Manchester City have a better strongest xi.

No doubt when compared to that line-up and certainly watched worse spurs sides. However we are in a different era and time now. We have most expensive tickets in premier league. We have 70mil a year for 10years from kit manufacturer & kit sponser. Not to mention 100mil tv money, stadium revenue & future stadium naming rights. But the big thing is our manager. There is no doubt we have one of the best managers ever but i dont think he is getting the backing from the club. So i would ask you on reflection of last season and this transfer window why would Poch or Kane want to stay if we fail to properly invest in first team.

Highly unlikely that we will have new players for this even if manage to get them in by thursday. Not being to train a bit with the others. And if we have Son, Alli, Foyth, Dier, Aurier, Davies, Wanyama , CCV and Foyth out, there won't be that much to choose from.

18 could be Lloris, Rose, Toby, Jan, KWP, Ndombele, Winks, Sissoko, Lamela, Moura, Kane, Gazzaniga, Sanchez, Skipp, Eriksen, Parrot, GKN and someone. Out of those GKN and even Eriksen might not be here come saturday.

How anyone can say Toby should be out/phased out/not looking sharp is ludacris! Toby is our best ball playing centreback and if not, one the best centrebacks in the league, if not the world!!

His distribution alone is enough to warrant a starting place.

Deary me, some peoples judgement is very iffy to say the least.

Let me know when you've put your money where your mouth is and laid Spurs on the betting exchanges for 6th place (or 5th or 4th) and i'll hoover up anything you offer - which i assume will be good odds given your opinion.
