i'll kick-start this one.

I think Walker got through a lot of work tonight with little end result, could be a good opportunity to play Trippier as a wing back. I'd also send Alli to the naughty step and try one last chance to kick-start Jansens Spurs career. I'd go;

Lloris

Diet
Toby
Verts

Trippier
Wanyama
Dembele (or Winks)
Davies

Kane
Jansen
Erikssen

Bringing Alli and Son on in second half if required.

Trippier creates more than Walker, Dier is not a very good central defender, I prefer not to see Dele at the moment ffs

1 Lloris (c)

38 C.Vickers - 4 Alderweireld - 5 Vertonghen

16 Trippier - 19 Dembele - 12 Wanyama - 33 Davies

23 Eriksen - 10 Kane - 7 Son

subs.
Vorm, Walker, Dier, Winks, Dele, N'koudou, Janssen

Agreed. We simply can't play 3 at the back without Rose. Davies isn't up to the job. He offers nothing going forward. Son has to start if there's no Rose.

This is exactly the team I'd choose.

Although I would think about going Walker at RWB and Trippier at LWB or maybe GKN there. Davies has played alot recently so a rest could be in order. Dier and Dele should be dropped.

CCV makes his debut over Wimmer because he's shown to be better in his appearance this season. Not sure if its lack of game time or just poor form but Wimmer has been absolutely abysmal when ever he's been called upon this season. Such massive contrast to last season.

is there a solution to not playing davies? at LB he is caught out and can't go forward, at LM in 5 man mid he just vacates space.

Fuck knows to be honest?

Dier, Davies and Dele need to be dropped though I suspect that they won't.

Maybe an omen, the last time we had someone sent off in the first half of a European game we played Stoke in the league as our next match. That player, Peter Crouch started much to the displeasure of most of WHL and then scored 2 goals. Here's hoping hey Dele?

I think Dele should play, will probably look to makeup for last nights sending off and the guy still has goals in him. Only thing up for debate is whether Son should play IMO, with Rose as well as Walker I think the pace in the team is adequate but we definitely lack a bit of sharpness with Davies there.

That's very pretty and you've even put their numbers next to them
