Davies can’t play Left Back in a back 4.
you must be a recent convert to football and missed about 6 years of his Spurs career then to come up with that conclusion

Don't be such a dick - particularly when you have no idea what you are talking about.

Maybe we can re-sign Danny Rose - he used to be able to play LB in a back 4 also.

Here is what I would try:

Forster
Romero Dier Lenglet
Porro Hojbjerg Sarr Davies
Kulusevski Kane Richarlison

Davies can’t play LB in a back 4, but he might be able to get by as a defensive Wingback, and Perisic can come in late if necessary. So slightly unbalanced with Davies sitting deeper and Porro laying higher on the other side.
This is both realistic (Conte will not change from deep lying 343, aka 523) and responsive to the threat that Bowen poses since he's finding a bit of form again. If Perisic is LWB, you'd think Bowen will have a field day.

I've got no confidence in us to put on a show and get a result. I think the manager is largely to blame for being stale, moany, and defensive. On the other hand, we beat Palace unexpectedly 4-0 and we pulled out a result at Fulham recently too. So there's always hope, but it's fading game by game.

I'd have Sanchez in the middle of the 3 going forward, so that defense is settled for Milan return.
Skipp I'd play every game, I know Sarr was better against Milan, but style wise I prefer Skipp paired with either Sarr or Højbjerg going forward.
Tempted to try Danjuma LWB, I understand he has played there before, maybe not start, but we need an option to Perisic.
Richarlison ahead of Son for the moment please, Son super sub.

Sanchez trying to marshall a back 5 would be horrible. I get it we need a change up but he can barely marshal himself back there. If anything, move Romero to the center (he used to at Atalanta) and Sanchez on the right, the Left side I would just put a training dummy with a jersey on since it'll get the same result lol

Someone has to do it, he's done well there before and I don't think the others are much better at it.
Romero has played in the middle before, but very different role, or should I say similar to how he play RCB for us.
He had the same free aggressive role playing in the middle, being allowed to push up as the two other on his side balanced it out.
It's about roles, not just positions.

Most important point for me however is to drop Dier and prepare for Milan.

At the moment it seems as though were just setting up for damage limitation whoever we play and it's clearly not working and how Conte can't see that goodness only knows.

We have players on the bench who are being criminally wasted like Richarlison who must be getting splinters in his arse woth all the bench warming he's doing whilst he's flogging a dead horse gamecafter game just hoping to see ot all click again for Sonny.

We're being set up to go into games hoping to soak up pressure and nick it 1-0 and whilst it happens on occasions for every 1-0 City performance it's interspersed with constant cycles of 3 or 4 games of dross and little to no threat up front and severe pressure that we're often unable to cope with and where we ship goals hence the convincing defeats against Arsenal Leicester and Villa. Last night could easily have been a 3-0 defeat instead of a 1-0 defeat, and it wasn't down to us that we only lost 1-0, in reality it was down to Milan for not converting basic and simple chances.

West Ham fans will be licking their lips watching us at the weekend and tonight. I know because 2 of my best mates are Spammers and they are giving me all kinds of shit on Whatsapp.
It's bad enough losing at home 2 or 3 nil, but to lose 2 or 3 nil against this lot will be a million times worse than losing to anyone else in the world 2 or 3 nil.

Why, because many of their fans are so nasty and bitter about us that they will rub it in like no other fans do and dine on out about it for the next 10 years !

------------------Forster------------------
Royal-----Romero--------Lenglet------Perisic
----------Sarr-------------Skipp-----------
---Kulusevski-------Kane---------Danjuma--
------------------Richarlison---------------

Subs: Austin, Davies, Sanchez, Dier, Porro, Hojbjerg, Son, Lucas, Devine

Obviously not going to happen, Perisic at LB far from ideal but whatever, I'd wish to go with positivity to attack into that game.

(What we will see is the same as yesterday with Hojbjerg in for Skipp I guess)

Will never happen but would be interesting to see.

Romero is a liability at the moment, diving in, out of position, he’s lost the plot and needs dropping. I think Porro and Perisc delivering crosses to the two up top would bring some decent results. Having a back four should bring some stability as well. Deki has been crap as well, my guess is we’re now seeing the form that made Juve let him go, has offered absolutely nothing for a while.

Edit: If PEH is available then switch him for Skipp but might be worth giving Skipp another run out
